help with DoW inspierd chaos lord conversion

the title explains alot...
ive found a good model...the only problem i have is the sythe the DoW lord carries...should i get a typhus model and use his one?
or can i mail order one?

You can just buy the scythe from GW mail order - it's $3, but you want to do it as part of a bigger order because their shipping is pretty expensive on orders under about $40. The whole Typhus model costs $15, maybe less on ebay etc.

you could also try to convert by using the scything talon for a nid warrior or something, cut off the "blade" part of it, and attach it to some kind of staff thingy.

you could also use the bladearms of a daemonette if i remember right. part of it looks like a scythe blade.

might be cheaper than buying typhus.

you might also be able to cut a deal with some other WH40K player you know, if he has the appropriate bits box.

too bad you are across the pond, i have a spare typhus manreaper laying around from my converted nurgle terminator lord with lightning claws.

You should ask your local chaos players if any of them have done the same thing, they will probably be happy to make a deal.

or you can make it out of plasticard. yay! just take a stick and attach a plasticard blade to it.

EDIT; cuz...typhus's has his hands on them and all that...and if want the wrappings on his, you can use green stuff to do that. so done and done.
