I'm pretty sure it happened to me in the beta...kind of hard to search for a thread like this, so I apologize if it's already up there...

Yeah, in the beta I can remember having all the requirements for termies, but I couldn't build them...at the time I ignored it...assuming it would be fixed.

Seems to still be there though...My chapel was destroyed but I had fortress etc. so I could still build an orbital relay...I rebuilt the chapel...praying for termies to save my game...but hurrah, I couldn't build them...I hauled my ww's back to my base and force fired my relay (forgot about delete lmao)...and rebuilt it, then i could build termies... :werd:

And you're 100% sure that in between blowing up your own Orbital Relay and rebuilding it you didn't capture any RELICS??

...because you need both the Orbital Relay and a captured relic to make terminators, you know...

Yeah I played enough to know that u need a relic to build termies...it was a hot topic, termies being a crappy tier 3 relic needing unit...

So yes i'm sure, I didn't move any units at all except bring my whirlwinds to destroy the relay and rebuild it to see if it was indeed an oversight.

I'm pretty sure underneath the greyed out "you can't build this" description, it would have said "requires capture relic" or whatever it said. I was just greyed out, no comment...I was really confused...
