hmmm two worth while replies.

well i gues they are probally kept in the imperial palace close to the emperor, his sword may even be proped up against his throne, just in case he ever wakes up. but no i dont think they are on public display and im pretty sure rogal dorn brought them back from horus battle barge when he brought back the emperors body.

If you look at the picture of the Golden throne in the BBB (and maybe the BGB I'm not sure) then on the right is a Marine-style helmet and a rack with weapons on (IIRC about the rack, I haven't looked recentl).

At least for the armour, a fragment of it is sealed in the Crux Terminatus on the left shoulder of every suit of Terminator Armour.

It's the source of the invulnerable save that Terminators enjoy.

Ahh... That explains it. Does everybody in the Space Marines know this though? Do the Terminators themselves know about the fragment?

BBB= Big Black Book, 40K 3rd Edition rule book that was (you guessed it) black.
BGB= Not quite sure, gonna go out on a limb and say it's the new 4th ed book.

Correct, it is the Big Grey Book of 4th Ed.

What are you saying?

That the fragments of the Emperor's armour are integral components to the recently developed universal holy refractor fields that shield our Brother Terminators now?

I imagine it's possible....

There are also shards in the Praesidium Protectiva's of the Sisters (assuming they still have them)

Yes, it is. In fact I believe it was specifically stated as such in the Chapter Approved article that introduced Terminator inv. saves.

Ah the faithful Battle Sisters. How I enjoy their dark halls and low rythms of prayer.

They have this flamer mixture, a secret known only to the Sisterhood that burns heretics with barely a whiff of evil. It's almost like there was no burning heretic at all. Sometimes they give me a canister or two and I am the envy of my Brothers.

Sometimes I keep enough to light the after-battle-barbie and the steaks are just...heavenly.

I will leave the Holy Sisters to speak for themselves in this matter, but seeing the racks and racks of short-ranged weapons of incineration they appear to delight in, I doubt they will be doing anything except lighting the BBQ.

Delicate and feeble excuses for the males of your race hold no fear or concern for the mighty Sisters.

They prefer a larger slice of meat.

Back down flaccid one.

Excerpt from Sister Laurian's battle report.
Date and place removed by Imperial Edict.

"It was only then that we suspected the true reason we had been led here. Blessed be the Rhino for truly was it the manifestation of the Emperor's grace that day.

The aliens who had escorted us to the temple suddenly turned on us and fired before we knew we were betrayed. I felt several stings as their weapons pierced my armour."

<Cannoness note: Sister Laurian was wounded seven times during this battle.>

"Sister Belany turned the Rhino to it's right and accelerated over the Eldar-aliens who had fired on us. I braced myself. I was accustomed to the severe jolting that accompanied Sister Belany's driving. Once she drove through a squad of traitor marines, but it seemed I need not have worried. The Rhino passed over the aliens as if they were not there, their frail frames and light armour being crushed easily under the Rhino's tracks.

My squad charged the rest of the aliens with flamers blazing and they burned like dry grass. The purging was complete."

<Cannoness note: The Sisters found a heretical device and determined that the eldar aliens were intendeding to use the Sisters in an unholy ritual. Not surprising the eldar attempted to insist the Sisters would not need their Rhino.>

Well well well, seems not any day hmmm alien?

Yes, I thought you would have learnt your lesson about rituals by now with the whole "most of race slain by birth of a chaos god" situation.

Not a good look pointy head.

A tragedy we have since dealt with.

No chaos gods were born as I remember. (Four defeated though.)

It was a small matter of internal politics, nothing to bother your pointy head about.

You are comparing a minor scuffle with some underpowered and unsupported insurgents with the death of almost an entire race and the birth of a source of pure evil?

You have a warped view of the galaxy.
