For some odd reason everytime I try to install the game right when the installation gets to 100% the install wizard shuts off. I've checked and it didn't install one file on my PC. I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2. I tried installing it on another computer in the house and it worked fine. wtf is the deal, its really starting to piss me off.

btw, I had Daemon tools installed and I heard that it causes problems with some installations so I removed it and still nothing...

What type of cd-rom drive are you installing it on? The problem might be with a rw drive and not daemon tools.
[edit] seems you are not alone: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=36160

I had the same problem, but i was able to get it to install after alot of work and help from others which involved changing the registry. I then bought Rome total war and it also wouldnt install. '
I found out through alot of tech forum searching that there is a bug in the windows xp service pack 2 install wizard that causes this. I removed the service pack 2 and total war installed first attempt. May want to try that.

It's actually an issue with Windows Installer 3.0.

Damn that sucks, I didn't save the uninstall information for SP2 so now I'm screwed. Looks like I'll have to start all over from the beginning. Thanks for the help.
