Ok, I have a question concerning T.Boys and Tankbusta bombz in general. Well, to put it simply, is it me or are they actually not working? I hear everyone say that TBBombz rock and so on, but when I use them, my TBoyz squad throws just one and it actually does s***, it gets maybe 1/10 HPoints of a vehicle at best. Super stikkbomb thrown by Big Mek does about 1/4 so its a little bit better.
I also notced that after my TBoyz got broken and rerouped they could'n hit anything with their rockets, even buildings. What's up with that. If it repats I'll post it in the troubleshooting forum, but for now I'd like som of you fine Boyz-lads to explain to me how do get TBoyz to be effective and what damage do the TBBombz do in your case? And how many are thrown, cause after my Tboyz throw one the button is unusable and starts recharging.

ya all types of grenades from squads throw only one. it would be a bit much for them all to throw them but i do wish they did a bit more damage at types. or atleast triggered some cooler death anim like the openning video.

I'm having real trouble killing vehicles with da boyz in general. Fully upgraded rokkits duff up light vehicles real good, but against the real big onez like dreadnaughts and land raiders, they barely scratch the paint.
Coupled with the fact that a dreadnaught that wades in amonst da boyz seems to end up in a near endless loop of that damn lame invulnerable killing animation, it's deeply frustrating. All my armour drops real fast but I can barely scratch theirs. Not to mention how expensive Tankbustas and stuff wiv Rokkits is in general. (req is the only resource that matters)
The balance between infantry and vehicles seems fairly screwed up to me.
Oh yeah, tankbusta bombs suck. I seem to be lucky if they hit the target, let alone scrape a few pixels off the health bar. For their cost, players should live in mortal fear of havin deze boyz get near their shiny tanks. wagh :(

i also seem to have trouble with armored vehicles, anyone ever have the big meks zzap thing ever do anything? it isn't supposed to do damage but immobilize the vehicle, the thing doesn't stop moving or shooting ever.

I dont think that your using the TB's right. an opponant sent a defiler across a bridge, 1 squad of 6 with rockets wiped it out with 0 losses, it took about 2 volleys (i think) of rockets and using the TB bomb finished it off, i think it still had a nice chunk of health left after the rockets aswell....
i think they way too expensive tho, it some ways it's better to use shoota squad with 3 rockets, tho they cant infiltrate...

I have to agree with Blackened, in that I have good luck when I build a critical mass of TB's and keep them at ranged. (2 x6 TBs = 12 rokkits) Dreddies are the toughest against this, followed by Preds (I discount LR's as being special, you should have mixed units by THEN to deal with this one, say 2-3 tb's with rokkits plus a fully reinforced Nobz mob) The secret is massing. Rokkits aren't kickass and they SURE aren't accurate, so you need a bunch.
Honestly, I really only use the BM's ff and telly upgrades, then upgrades the armor and weaponry. I hardly ever get to the other things like bustas (or the Stormboyz upgrades... now THERE is an unused unit)

wasn't sure about this myself so i tried it out and nothing happens the dread that i used it on continued to rape and pillage everything...no stun or anything
however, orks do have many other anti tank weapons that i dont see get used, like super stink bombs (BM) and other things that i cant remember right now....

the zzap thing of the big mek is ok tho i dont know exactly what its supposed to do. sometimes it just stuns but that seems to be about it and not for very long, could definitely use a boost.
