I noticed they have similar armor.

The Grey Knights are, the best infact. Battle Sisters however are NOT. Just because they get the same armour, doesnt mean they're the same. They're nowhere near as well trained as Marines, nor do they have the actualy implants and Gene-seed that makes them Marines.

The GK are technically marines. Thought many consider them far superior.

They are still Marines no matter how superior they are. More so than "Technically".

Exactly what makes them superior?

Their training, the fact that each one is a psyker in their own right, and their basic loadout (Nemesis Force Weapons, storm bolters etc).

S.O.B are not marines. Grey Knights are a sovreign Space marine chapter. They are not superior, just a different speciality. The best the imperium have to offer are the Adeptus Custodes

No it says that Grey Knights geneseed is superior to that of normal marines, but it doesn't elaborate. Also, the training and psychosurgury knights go through harden them against horrors that might even drive normal marines insane.

I love Grey Knights...they are so cool and elegant in their heavy armour which makes them look very noble person...i wish they had assault squad and attack bikers which make them the coolest of all...

P.S Are the battle of sisters a virgin ?..they look so hot and sexy in their tight clothes.

Indeed ShadowFox. Just remember that these guys can win against totally impossible odds. They are FAR more powerful than a standard Marine, by far.

One reason they might be concidered superior is that it is rumored that their Geneseed comes straight from the Emperor I think it says something like this in the codec.

But the Gene seeds of the Primarchs came from the Emperor. Sanguinius with wings? Magus the Red the Cycolpian Giant? The Fangs of Russ? These seem like mutations, and as the primarchs were supposed to be the most pure(and from the Emperor). That means the Grey Knights should have flaws, albiet small ones, probably so small no one can notice them.

Also, the Grey Knights get all the best equipment. But then again, can they eliminate both armour saves and invulnerable saves? A DP with a Dreadaxe can.

It dosent mention any flaw in the codex so I'm not sure about that. I know they have a few weapons that can eliminate inv saves. but the basic troops get the str bonus when attacking because of their nemesis force weapons thats pretty good for a basic troop of course that is off set by their hefty price.

What do sister of battle suppose to look like anyways? Anyone got any link to any arts?

Also, what's the purpose of the sisterhood? Since from what i gathered they are just normal humans, abide highly trained ones.

thanks

Yeah, it's rumored that their seed is from the Emperor himself.
The basic GK is definately far more superior than the normal, bolter toating tactical marine. He's a fearless, demon annihilating man of doom, capable of shredding apart squads in a squad half the number of the regular marines. he always has +1 attack in Power armor, he wounds and hits easier, and people have to roll to see him when they shoot.
Not to mention he has a storm bolter STRAPPED to his wrist. Only abbadon and Logan had such a thing! It's a trend! :bandit:

One must remember that the Primarchs were scattered across the galaxy when Chaos attempted and failed to destroy them. Some where exposed to The Warp, and suffered mutations as a result, like Sanguinius and Magnus the Red and Leman Russ. Others were seemingly untainted. Only the Emperor's geneseed though is certain to be untainted and apparently is used for both the Grey Knights and Adeptus Custodes. My theory is that the two are essentially the same, with the Knights being trained to hunt out Chaos across the galaxy, and the Custodes being trained to tend to the Emperor and the Golden Throne. They both use similar equipment, specifically Nemesis Force Weapons.

Sisters are physically normal humans, almost all are orphans of Imperial officials trained in special orphanages run by the Ecclesiarchy. The Sisters of Battle are the armed forces of the Ecclesiarchy, basically the church's army. They are not allowed to have "men under arms" due to prior excesses that nearly resulted in a civil war destroying the Imperium. The Sisters are tasked with enforcing church doctrines and punishing heretics, as well as hunting down mutants and rogue psykers. Males in the same orphanages often become Stormtroopers and later some advance to become Commissars in the Imperial Guard. The Witchhunter's Page at GW (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/witchhunters/default.htm) has artwork, and some background on them.

The Ecclesiarchy's male warriors were called the Frateris Templars, they also wore power armour and were highly skilled fighters. During the Age of Apostacy, M33, Goge Vandire launched an attack on Fenris(homeworld of the Space Wolves) using the Frateris Templars, the Templars were defeated by the Wolves but the war lasted almost a year, fighting an Astartes Chapter for a year, not bad eh?

When Goge Vandire was killed the Frateris Templars were de-mobbed and the Daughters of the Emperor took their place as the Adepta Sororitas or Sisters of Battle.
