Alright, I've devised a pretty sickening strategy. I really am debating on stating it here, but hopefully there won't be a strong counter for it....
Works best on 2on2 automatch where there is only 1 critical point.
You start of building 2 bonesingers and then 2 guardians.
First bonesinger builds your barracks, but the second teleports to the critical position and builds mines around it (yes, mines). Third builds plasma...now from here on out, it's pretty normal. You just expand slowly with 2 sets of guardians, get entangle, your far seer, etc.
But here's the key. You mine/tower/gate the critical spot REAL early in the game and use it as your spot to sit. 2-3 full guardian groups, mines, 2 towers and a healing waygate is a BITCH to kill early on.
And the last thing - add in pure nastiness and use the wraithtomb ability of your workers on their main buildings. Build a bonesinger, warp in, wraithtomb his main hall. Rinse, lather, repeat - shuts them down, seriously.
My only problem thus far has been 2 things - early marine rush (usually the towers eat them), but Chaos players are just beating me senseless with those Possessed SM. I mean, how can I handle those early? Dark Reapers aren't bad but are a bit expensive so early and I've seen 2 groups of them REAL early in the game. Anyone have a nice way of dealing with them?
