Hello all. I had purchased HW-C earlier this week and was amazed with the graphics and game play. What stuck me most was the graphics used for the ships in the game. When I was young, I had, and still have 2 of 3 books that were immensely ejoyable with pictures and storys. If you like the graphics in the game you will most likely enjoy the artwork in the books. These are the books, and 1 pic of the "Hornet" fast attack craft from the first book.

The hornet looks quite homeworld-ish.

It's just a drawing, it doesn't have to have windows if the artist doesn't want them too.

This all looks like Chris Foss work; or, Chris Foss-inspired work.
Isn't Chris Foss named in the HW credits somewhere? I think I
remember seeing his name the one time I went through the credits :)

The artist of those books = Peter Elson.

Remember Captain Elson? Homage paid there and in the credits of the game.

The future has no need for windows.

Why would you want windows when you have visual sensors all over the ship and a head mounted display system to use them. You could just turn your head and see in that direction. All directions.
