omfg, i had bolter turrets with upgrades on, as many as phyically possible on all 4 sides of my base, i had the stragic points just to the north and south of base, with as many bolter turrets with upgrades on as possible, i had 4 terminator squads, and as many preditor and dreadnoughts as possible, and i still got slapped silly. lol, am i missing anything?

Immediatly after you activate the bridge the eldar player sends in bong singers to contruct new bases where the previous ones were and then rallies all the units from the right side of the map towards your base.

yah thats prety much the solution. I also completed the campaign on insane and that was what i had to do to survive that mission. Ensure that they did not rebuild their bases thereby giving them mutliple locations to attack me from and webway units to those locations.

I actually had all my army on the bridge decimating their waves there when the other waves started decimating my bases. I just went through to the end with my army and didn't look back :D

Way I beat this was to max out my vehicle cap on landspeeders, hop them over to the other side of the river (near the lower right relic) head up to objective (which if i remember right had some reapers and wraithlords, which promptly died to massed assault cannon fire.

I actually didnt expect the mission to end here and thought i had to take control of all the points (like it says in the objectives list) so was sending infantry up to take and hold the bridge point. Then, fade to black, oh well.

Yeah, I did the same thing. I didn't even bother to take over any of the strategic points on the other side of the bridge. Just reinforced like mad and pushed on. :bandit:

Before I made it to the bridge I had some odd problems trying to figure out where the enemy was coming from. It pissed me off that I couldn't find them, so I put scouts on the eastern shore thinking that's where the enemy was coming from. I scoured everything on my side of the bridge of Eldar, got the bridge open and let them come to me for the first wave. Edge up slowly using scouts to spot. Bring dreads, Hellfires seem to work alright, but Preds are your best friend. Move slowly, try not to split up your forces, concentrate firepower, scouts forward and such.
