[1v1 Chaos vs SM] What did i do wrong?

Ok, i'm having some trouble getting the hang of this game, i started out quite well i think, but when i was attacked it all just fell apart.

Any pointers from some better players would be much apreciated :)

Played on Deadman's crossing
Myself (SkummyB) playing as chaos versus Rogue_fox playing as SM.
Duration: 29 minutes
Conditions set: Annihilate
Condition triggered: Annihilate (me losing)

damn that was a boring game to watch so little action.. anyway first of all your build order is ok by me

what bothers me however is that you leave your forces in your base instead at your front lines, what if the enemy attacked in full force? then you have to draw them all the way from your base

2nd you did not interfear at all wen someone is trying to attack your captured relic while you had troops at an armlengt.. they captured your relic captured the rest and build defences near it like it was peace time.. get the point?

be more agressive cause that guy had more resources and winning the tech up game :smash:

Upgrading the predators would have helped you take down those dreadnoughts and land raiders. Especially since he left them alone most of the time.
But then again maybe he would have killed them faster if they had lascannons
