DLHELP2 Errors

I am not entirely shure how I got this but I have the same problem in Half-Life and AvP2 too. Everytime it happens my machine hangs and I have to restart it.

Anyway to solve this and WTF is DLHELP2?

is it a DirectX 8.1 Driver?

But I dont think an ASCII editor is doing it.....

I think it might be an OpenGL problem, as both Half-Life and AvP2 use OpenGL, as well as Homeworld.

Maybe you're using outdated OpenGL drivers?

i remember DDHELP*** being a part of directX dunno about DLHELP though,

maybe directX related indeed

DDHelp is definetely a direct X issue. I suggest you get the latest version of Direct X and your video card drivers. Be sure to clean out your current vid card drivers before you install the new ones. Install the new vid card drivers, restart your computer and then reinstall direct X. Let us know if that helps.
