Big porblem with PDS

I like so much HW2 and i have download the PDS mod; i have folloved all the steps to install it but it crashes. The HW2 tell me this :

yeahhhh i have done that three or four times in diferents pcs and happen the same thing; i dont have v1.1 update of the game, does it matters?¿

Yes, it actually does. Update to 1.1 and it might work. But then again it might not, but updating never hurt anyone. Except the campaign vaygr's fleet.

Best thing to do would be to do a complete reinstall of HW2 then install the 1.1 patch. After that is done, you can extract the PDS files into your HW2 folder.

Make sure you have added the -overridebigfile line in your path (right click HW2 shortcut, go to properties and add -overridebigfile to the end of the path and click apply). Make sure you dont put it inside the quotation marks.

my HW2 version is downloaded by emule; i cannot buy here; its so difficult to get where i live does it matter? do i have to buy one? its important or it doenst matter to have a copy to play with this mod?
i cannot install v1.1 i suppose because is ilegal jejejeee but i can play the camping (so so so difficult)

I feel I must comment on this one, seeing as how I develope software for comercial purposes. SOFTWARE PIRACY IS ILLEGAL. It is a slap in the face for all us people who spend thousands of hours to develope a game and then some chump comes along and says, those people dont need to get paid for all the time they spent makeing this game I love to play so dearly. Well I say its people like you who are taking money out of my pocket, and don't tell me its not available wherever you are because there are PLENTY of online resources to buy games and have them shipped to you.

Well i just brought my copy from Gamestop for only $19.00 and i can't stop playing it.

Its like playing inside of a japanese anime cartoon.

My problem with Point Defence is that i can't seem to save a game when i'm playing it.

If i press save it will freeze now.

I did manage to get one save but then when i try to load it the game crashes to the desktop...anyone know why this happens?

Savegames - you can't use stock game saves or that of other mods, or it will crash. As for loading you can get around that issue by starting up a new map/mission, get to the 3D view then load the save normally using the F10 menu. It will work then.
