3D Model import issues

I'm sorry if this has already been asked before. I managed to be able to import models from 3DSmax into DOW, but I can't figure how to extract existing models ie *.whm files into a editable *.max file. I've searched RDN and have been unsuccessful there, and a googled as much as possible. Could anyone let me know how to do it or point me in the right direction of a tutorial.

You can't. Some were provided, for educational purposes, with the Mod Tools.
