Dual Pentium III 1000
nViida Quadro 4 750XGL 28.80 WHQL driver
In d3d mode, there are texture antifacts on mothership and some huge ships.
In openGL compatible mode, I am unable to use FSAA whether I activate it in display control panel or not.
Have any ideas?

Hmmmm interesting... I recently played Homeworld from start to finish with my new GeForce 4 using Quincux FSAA (tried 4X AA and it looked god awful ugly). I was using the 27.42 drivers if I remember correctly.
Can you describe the D3D artifacts? Are you refering to the "see through docking bays" on the mothership, Taiidan Support Frigate and the carriers when viewed from a distance? Can you take a screenshot?

Yeah you are right. There are "see through docking bays" on some huge vessels or articles, especially on the mothership.

The D3D artifacts are there for everyone. As for the AA, I suggest trying Quincux AA as it worked well for me.

Can you enable FSAA under OpenGL mode in WinXP?

That's what I'm using... Quincux AA.

Yeah. I think it is a dirver issue. When I shift back to 27.52 driver, FSAA works perfectly under OpenGL mode. Now I am playing it at 1280X1024 with Quincux AA, everything is beautiful!
