well i've been troughoutly reading my codex for the fifth time or so and observed, that any number of chosen in power or terminator armour can be upgraded to aspiring champs, if thats true you can make a squad of 5 heavy-duty, champs in terminator armour... and do any of you know if it's going to be corrected, or is it just true??
well it might sound a bit newbie to aks about this but if it is true it's a quite unique thing troughout the 40k universe, right?

You're correct. The points escalate out of control, making for a 500pt unit of 5 chosen champs, but the effect is nothing short of evil. 5 champs w/ daem visage, daem str spiky bits and lightnin claws and other assorted gifts is just unstoppable... make 1 a psyker while you're at it

still 1 wound, t4 tho? bit vunerable.
I can see it now...
You-YEAH! MY CHAMPION/TERMINATOR UNIT JUST DEEP STRIKED BEHIND YOUR LINE OF FIRE WARRIORS! your turn!
Tau player-...you make me sad. I fire with everything at the unit. EVERYTHING
you-you dastardly roge!

welll that's just evil then, but yea they suck up a lot of point too. but a deamon prince with a retinue of termie champs, can sweep the whole table, and take a serious amount of damage too!!... though i don't think theyre worth it in like smaller armies.
and thank's for the quick replies

you know, a champion unit woould work well in 40k in a Flash. Those guys would wipe out pretty much everything quickly, and your opponent probably would have anything extremely powerful to shoot with. However, the number you would go against you swarm you.

T4 W1 to start. Add Daemonic Resilience and you get some tasty T5 action. I don't remember if AspChamps can take DaemEssence for +1W or not. Still, Take 'em as Khornies and give 'em 'Feel No Pain' and they can avoid wounds on 4+ in addition to their Termi goodness. With the pair of claws, they get 5 attacks before charging. SICK!
