Duty calls...on the Planet Relic. Yes, it's actually named Relic---the newbie planet where our heroes must prove themselves, before the great Purging where they will be brought to Planet Morgana, where the true heroes battle in a perpetual war for dominance.

The Revolution has fallen recently against Terminus, but as a young recruit, my battles are still on in the planet Relic, where my faction, Isha, struggles against the overwhelming forces and undisciplined mob like forces of the factions Solan and Luxia.

But we, the Knights and Warriors of Isha, moved swiftly, using speed, tactics and guile where we lack numbers, saving our nation, retaking our territory with swift blitzkriegs, staving off the enemy from the gates of our capital.

I am just a young recruit, holding four squads of cyborg mecha for infantry; the durable Wraiths, the flamethrowing Imps and speedy Spades were my chosen. We of Isha fight as allies, while the Solan relies heavily on the airpower of their Hawks, Eagles, Pelicans and organic Mantas. My troops fight like heroes, standing shoulder to shoulder, decimating enemy mechs and tanks, their monsters and aircraft falling under whithering fire of my gatling guns. But even my brave heroes fall...sometimes three squads in mere minutes....against the onslaught of the unstoppable enemy.

My quest ahead of me, my duty calls. The smoke of war is in the air, and the ground trembles on the march of great armies heading to the battle front. My troops are brave, and I will lead. I will head forth into the Chaos, and I will stand shoulder to shoulder with legends. I shall be gone for a while...fighting desperately, but with speed and honor, in this mad place...in Shattered Galaxy...

Just in case if nobody gets it, I won't be participating on this forum for a while, perhaps as long as indefinitely or as long as I can finally get over this game. That means limited replies and a clear halt to my fiction activities in the meantime.

All I can say is SG truly rocks, and its sense of utter mayhem is truly unparalleled.

Well its my birthday come saturday, I might just treat my self!

Question, presumeing you make it back here.

Do you have to pay a monthly fee to play SG or is it a once off, and an expasion every so often?

Hey cro, it's SHADES not spades :p a shade is a fast attack walker, armed with versitile gat-guns rated at 78 dmg(?) a spade is a type of gardening tool/type of playing card. Also if your playing SG, i'll give you this tactical hint: PUT EVERY SPARE POINT IN CLOUT, being able to get Falcons, and their beam-cannon attack, with only 1 lvl in Air is VERY handy (They come with a built in cloak, who knew?!) also Infantry you will usually drop off interest, after you are able to get some of the tougher units, like Chims, Moths, Levs, Brutes (Earthquake BABY!) Arbs, and Bals, and I know all this cuz I was in SG beta, and mabbey still lurking around somewhere on SG :p. Well enough talking about SG, back on topic, so who likes Cheez?

Jeez, I'm only in Level 12. and it may take your a month or more of playing before going to the next level, every level requirement doubles that of the previous one (I need over 10,000 XPs before going to Level 13.) Seems so fast shooting to Level 12 but it seems to take forever going that.

My Shades are up to this level with a Gatling Gun that dishes out 108 damage with only 1.8/s of cooldown.

I got Wraiths with beam weapons to secure POCs, and Pegs to chase after POCs for a quick game victory. Shades and Pegs often make up the difference of winning a quick game.

I got Eagles and Pelicans that seem to do nicely once their levels go up.

All i'll say is Get the massive areal battleships called Condors, with their devastating Fusion storm Beam (special weapon), with these things the only thing you will do when you see hordes of enemy fighters is chuckle to yourself about a lot of easy kills, and tell those bad boys to let 'er rip!

Also if the going gets hard, get caving, I know it's not glamorus, or anything, but hey it's Exp, free and easy!

I've modded my Pelicans with heavy missiles for both air and ground attack, with at least 93 damage and only 1.7 sec cool down. Hehe, and I've nailed Condors with them. Nailed plenty of Hawks too. Got modded Eagles too with high damage (100 and over).

My Shade Mk IIs are equipped with heavy gattling guns now with 137 damage and 1.8 sec cool down, and anything that flies over them just gets ripped apart. I also got Level 15 Wraith MK IIs with heavy Thunderbolt Prisms that do 114 damage with only 2.0 sec cool down.

I could do more damage if I relied on purely ground or air based weapons, but the battle situation is so fluid, I needed some balance in versatility.

I usually fight down hard to the last. The harder you fight, the more your units gain XP. I let my squads get killed fighting hard, so even the reserves are placed into battle and they can get maximum exposure to experience points.

Mmm wraiths, well...they are scarry! They have ungodly ammount of armour, and powerfull guns, in fact I just refer to them as Mechs, cuz they don't quite clasify as infantry due to their toughness, slow speed, and sheer firepower. Also dose it also seem to you that wraith pilots, who are femal (that or very femminine guys) are domnitarixes?

I think it's more like the Spirits (the fast, long range commando snipers) and the healing Medics are the ones who are feminine.
