What annoys me most about Eldar

Hallo all, after recently playing a 3 and a half hour game that started as a 2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2 assassinate but degraded to a 1v1, after my ork teamate dropped after slaying all but 1 team. This made it a 1v2 against me. I was SM and they were a SM and an Eldar, the idiotic noob of a SM tried to orb me but my rockets pinned him down and I killed him. Then the eldar, who was heavily dug in, started a stalemate. but he won in the end, only because of the annoying eldar exclusive tactics he used

reasons why eldar totally suck ass
1_They build EVERYWHERE!!!
2_They build D-cannons everywhere they build
3_They have invisible buildings
4_They have an annoying habit of jumping/teleporting grav tanks and warp spiders
5_Dug in Dark reapers are impossible to kill
6_They are even more annoying when they build D-cannons around their reapers
7_No matter how many bases you kill they ALWAYS have another somewhere.
8_Due to web gates they can have a huge army anywhere they want. (unlike you)
9_Those damn star-cannons!
10_they fact that they are almost impossible to dislodge once they have got a hold on the map
11_When you are eldar you get your ass whooped, but when they are against you they whoop YOU
12_That annoying noise their buildings make
13_Everything else about them that haven't mentioned


What is the strongest weapon of mankind? The god-machines of the Adeptus Mechanicus? No! The Astartes legions? No! The tank? The lasgun? The fist? No to all! Courage and courage alone stands above them all

Do you know what annoys me most about people like you?

1_They start useless threads like this one.
2_After they lose a game online they come to the forums and whine.
3_Instead of learning from their misstakes they start blaming on imbalance.
4_When losing they start to insult people.
5_Everything else I haven't mentioned.

sorry sorry I wasn't complaining, they are valid tactics, and the eldar player was immensly skilled, I was just stating that they r annoying

1. Yes, they can build everywhere, but it's usually not worth doing so as the cost outweighs the benefit. Eldar buildings are paperthin anyway.
2. Turrets use a lot of resources and don't move anywhere...
3. Those invisible buildings cost a considerable amount of req/power to research, apothecaries, FC and librarian can all detect them, and you can hear them by focusing your viewpoint on the hidden buildings.
4. Assault Marines can "teleport" aswell, warp spiders are jump troops just as every other race has. Furthermore, they're pretty useless against heavy infantry anyway.
5. No they're not, you have a variety of options here.
a) Attack them with scouts, Dark Reapers do almost no damage to light infantry.
b) Jump in some ASM and attack them in melee.
c) Use vehicles, Dark Reapers do virtually no damage to them either.
6. Again, they use a hell of a lot of resources and some ASM or missiles will take care of those nicely.
7. Have you considered how much resources are not being spent on useful things while they're building bases everywhere?
8. Yes, they can - destroy the gate and there is no problem.
9. Those damn plasma guns and sniper rifles!
10. That's the same for every race...
11. No offence but it sounds to me like you just suck at playing eldar.
12. That annoying noise is how you can detect the invisible buildings you complain about...

an it wasn't imbalanced it was a 1v1 also it was the best game I have ever played, and not once did I insult my adversary and I accept the fact that I made tactical mistakes (i.e let him get to much of a grip, shouldn't have spread so thin, use diff vehicles,shudnt have used ass termies, lol what a great game :) I have learnt from my mistakes, it was a stalemate, he got the better of me. sorry to have insulted you
