Base Color

Hey I'm new here. My question is how do you allow the base color of your race to be black?

don't bother. it just shows up pink in the game online. if you're offline there's no point of showing off colors.

its not about showing off color in singleplayer. It's about aesthetic appreciation. Just start homeworld singleplayer, make it so you have black stripes, exit homeworld, go into your Homeworld folder, open the Homeworld.cfg file with notepad, and where it says PlayerStripeColor, copy and paste the number into the number next to PlayerBaseColor. Don't forget to save changes. Go back into homeworld and start playing, WITHOUT ANY VISIBLE TRAILS. so, the operation is useless. Though the black does look cool for about three hours.

The number should look something like this: -16777216

ya the thread i started called trail color question, is basically asking the same question, but in a difference sence.(trying to get diff. color trails with black ships)

Zero is also black, and much easier to remember.
