HW Ship models

Hey, anyone know where I can get 3D models for the HW ships? prefferably 3ds or max format but, whatever is out there

visit some of the various MOD or MOD tutorial sites around, and pick up 2 programs called "BigViewer.exe" and "3D explorer"

After you have these, use the BigViewer.exe to load up and extract the r1, r2, p1, p2, p3 folders from the file "homeworld.big"
Then install and run 3D explorer, and look inside these folders, to the directories like "..\r1\carrier\rl0\lod0\carrier.peo"
...these are the model files. You can then convert them to .3ds or whatever format you wish, and edit them.
Getting them back in game... is a whole other story :)
