Problems with 2v2 Autoteam

I tried to play 2v2 Autoteam with a friend already quite often, but I, up to now, just managed to play few games on 2v2 AT.

The reason for this is, that even if there are some players, who wanna play 2v2 AT against me and my friend,in some cases, they cannot find our team/game and also not the other way round of course. Thus, it takes very long to find enemies in 2v2 AT for us.

I don't know what the reason for this could be, as a normal 2v2, means non-automatch game, is possible against the ones who cannot join our 2v2 AT games.

I think it's another funny gamespy-bug, but if there's another reason for this or if you have an idea how to solve this problem, please tell me.

It's due to the crappy NAT.
Some comps simply can't communicate, it does not matter wether this is a random 2vs2 game or an automatch.
So there is nothing you can do about that except for waiting for the next patch.

thanks. Hope the patch is coming soon as it's kinda strange to see all ur mates u play with doing a 2v2 AT but you can't play against them.
