Looks like more love for Company of Heroes. Gamespy ranked it a comfortable #12 in their list of the best out of E3, a good thing to be sure. And notably, it beat Age of Empires III, the only other RTS mentioned :).

They seem pretty excited about the unit AI, and physics engine like everyone else.

Wtf? 12?! Shoulda made it to 1, by a longshot.

KING KONG got a higher rating. And Call of Duty 2? Wtf?! CoH pwnz them so hard.. And Spore should definately be in the top three, at least. <3

Gamespy is batshit loco, from this day and every day 'til they get better reviewers. o_o

Stupid Zelda game got #1. No fair! Biased staff members! :p

Hey! Zelda OWNS HARD, Lone. :p

Anyways, not surprised that CoH is up there. ;)

Yeah, but below King Kong? That's a backstab to RTS lovers everywhere.

King Kong, Directed by Peter Jackson. It has flying demons instead of dinosaurs.

And it gets higher than CoH. ARGH.

That article lost any credibility it might have had by putting Call of Duty 2 ahead of Spore.

It's still credible if you consider how focused it is on Console titles. CoH is the 6th best PC title on that list, and the first among RTS, including Age III.

Not that there was any doubt >.>

Yeah, but people waiting for CoH and Spore are considerably less than those waiting for CoD2 or KK, Gamespy needs money (or hits per day to keep advertisments flowing) so puts popular games before those truly deserving.

BTW, where's Makai Kingdom?

Yeah, I'm not that impressed with CoD2 either. But any publicity CoH can grab a hold of is great.

I wish I could see this demo they were talking about, where even though everything is scripted, the soldiers still did things a little differently (like a machinegunner taking position on a particular spot, and next time through a missile launcher taking that position instead). It seems with that and the destructable terrain no two battles will be the same.

PS: Shadow of the Colossus looks freakin' awesome. :heyhey:
