Well done relic. Take a break and have a beer
Before, this game was on my "looks interesting, i may get it if i have the money" list.....now it's on the just plain "GET IT!!" list.
Once again relic you produce an absolutely breathtaking game. :bow2:
Can i see another PC game of the year award on the horizon?

TLK didn't you know Uber was known as the Uberspammer? Just look at how to type this smilie. :uber:
COH seems to be on a roll. Dare I say this will be more revoluntionary than HW?

If you look at past years.. CNC Generals and BFME were winners too... But we all know how those games turned out.
Let's hope that COH and Relic/THQ won't have the same problems.

Except Relic is basically the bioware of the RTS genre unlike EA which is known for their subpar games.

Worms right? :tooth:
Erm, what, coh wins what? :p I'm interested inthe game, but demo will ultimatly dictate if i buy the thing or not. Price is important aswell. i'm not parting with £34 for something even remotly similar to dow. Yes in a bad way.

It is?

Actually, Ammon, you only wish I meant worms.
As it is in Lovecraftian stories the truth is more terrifying than fiction.
Though personally I'm surprised the Elder Gods haven't been drawn into some sort of tentacle r- *stolen by Forum Ninjas*

This is great news, we all know what happened to the forums when DoW had their betas and big news announcements right? I'm frightened at the thought of how many users will be brought in by CoH lol
Lol ammon ra, your jealous because DoW > GCII :P

Lol ammon ra, your jealous because DoW > GCII :P
  Cheers for the joke. :) dow does have some good points, but it's the universe mainly that made it so poular. IMO it's quite bad. gc2>dow anyday. esp sp-wise Spam as many uber units as possible, attack the enemy's vls, rinse, wash, repeat. no i dont play mp. CS taught me otherwise...*shivers* and sinse it's a similar demographic..well...atleast people don't cry and yell and shout about "wallhacks" or "aimbots"...*sigh* [Instead the shout and yell about unit X isn't balanced VS unit Y because 5 squads of X can defeat 5.1 squads of Y and crap like that...]
I'd welcome the people that come for coh, because there wouldn't be many sc-taught people. minimal micro, no basebuilding, decent ai...everything contrary to Sc...*bliss*
Considering these forums had to change a server after you lot came, i dont really want to know the damage inflicted when the Console peeps start flooding these forums...*shivers* Now that is something i dont want to see. I've heard some Myths from halo live...
tlk: Wait, what's worse that a wriggling worm? My first impression would be a woman, but that's not worse than a nekkid worm...
Hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......................

Well obviously, no one can deny that DOW's singleplayer leaves much to be desired, but it's the multiplayer that made it fun in the first place. Then again, GC2 has it's own faults, most of them being not faithful to the original Ground Control. Heck, Ground Control 2 needed a lot of uneccessary micro in order to get anywhere. C'mon, I'm surprised that Ammon RA, who never like Stacraft-ish micro thinks GC2 is better, which is ALSO guilty of having uneccessary micro as well. :wtf:

If you want to talk about GC2 vs. DoW, maybe the CoH forum isn't the best place for it?
(I must admit, I'm still puzzled as to why Massive got rid of GC's best feature -- squad-based combat -- in favour of a retrograde step back to individual unit control. At least Relic recognised an advance for what it was, and went with it.)

The game is entirely different in multiplayer, seems you don't have grounds to argue on. If you wish to continue this I'm more than happy to over the PM system or we could make a new thread in general discussion concerning the ups and downs of each game.

Ammon, have you been to the Miami beaches?
There are scarier fleshy wriggly things in the world than worms..
