make their set up time like a heavy bolter, and make their 2 jumps alot longer to recharge? would that work or make ws up?

Just give them a set-up time. If you are going to increase their teleport recharge time, do it only slightly as it's long enough already.

a set-up time would make it harder to dance, and they'd be screwed as soon as their teleports ran out, perhaps meaning other eldar units would be used.
I think it would be too much - WS are supposed to jump in, shoot and jump out....giving them a setup time would be crippling.

Why do they have so much hp and heavy armour, if they're meant to be fast attack like that? :p Thy could fulfill this role with half the hp... Which might be a good way to balance them actually, then they would lose to DR's, but DR's lose to banshees, and without a damage reduction, WS would beat banshees.
yeah nerfing the HP would be a possible alternative (make them glass cannons - still devastating to light inf if you use them absolutely perfectly but very fragile if you make a mistake and/or your opponent knows what hes doing).

perhaps slowing their movement down, so orks can catch them once their teleporters are out.
[wishfull thinking]Or do like they did in the 2nd edition of the table top 40k: Since the Warp Spiders have to risk themselves traveling through the perils of the warp, let there be a small chance the squad can be lost in the warp forever......... [/wishfull thinking] :loco:
no that would just be annoying - some of the time they would wtfpwn the orks normally and then occasionally theyd just vanish and youd be left thinking "where did my warp spiders go?"

A 1 second setup time would be perfectly sufficient.
Maybe they could mistarget their jumping and screw it up sometimes. Although it won't happen, it could be fun :)

I like the set up time, and decrease the HP. I would still like to see a nerf to the damage, not by a lot.
The warp thing was just a joke I think, but I guess negative fluff towards Eldar is a bad thing.

I'd rather they kept that game mechanic for the power-armoured nobz, it's very orky.
