You can micro LP2 Eldar Turrets
You can micro LP2 Chaos Turrets
You can micro LP2 Orks Turrets
You cannot micro LP2 SM Turrets

Why?

Is it a bug or not? If it is a bug please could Relic address it?

Why is it you can micromanage ALL the turrets BUT the SM ones? Any reason behind this OR is it a bug?

im pretty sure its all LP2's that cant be given specific target orders.

No Gromij, I tried, every turret can be microed BUT the SM ones

i think because sm lps make skull probes. when you right click ur setting the rally point for the skull probes.

Space Marines were technically the first race fully implemented into the game, this feature could've been slated after creating a bare-bones structure for Space Marines, and after including on the other races was probably forgotten. It would be definitively nice for this to be fixed. Or if there was a solution to be had in entity blueprints, that might tell us something. I'll give it a look myself as I am curious now.

That is a valid reason but still I think it should be fixed somehow, it's not fair

Most likely it is because a right click sets the rally point for the skull probe. So it's not a bug but a feature.

well Id say that makes it a bug...you should be able to micro the gun.

I think it should be fixed too, it is irritating when an LP is completely wasted on shooting pathetically at a hero, when it could be gunning down guardians or something.

@Worf: Inability to micro what other races can micro is not exactly what I call a 'feature'.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Eldar/Chaos/Ork LP2s don't always do as they're told? Sometimes I can micro them... sometimes I can't.

CSM turret micro almost not working - you can click over 100 times and still it'll shoot hero, and sometimes it change target for 1 second
