SO I'm new HAh. I really surprised many rts players have overlooked this game. This is by far the best experience I've ever had with playing a real-time STRATEGY game.
Really! Every game that has been out lately, like WC3, to me is not really a strategy game in my eyes. It's a all out resource war which I really am growing tired of lately. AOM anyone? When they attack early and take out your resource gatherers you're pretty much screwed. I'm not saying that recources are obsolete in this game it's seems that they can be better protected and you know when an enemy is taking over a Strategy point and it takes a while for them to do so then you ou can defend them appropriately.
I love how when watching some recorded games that there are small skirmishes going on around the map then it gettinto an all out war.
I can't believe i've overlooked this game. Can't wait till the Ex-pack.
i'm also looking forward to AOE3 even though it's focused alot on resource and economy management. but jsudgin by Ensembles track record i'm sure it will be a blast.
