Which is the highest resolution your monitor can support?
This information is needed for some of our projects.

1280x1024, but the monitor's prone to overheating, so I try to keep it running at lower resolutions.

1600X1200 on 75 hz, but I keep it on 1280 by 1024, that's perfect :-) (on a 17-inch, maybe on a 21 inch 1600X1200 is doable)

1024x768, but I've got to look hard at the screen to know what ship I've selected. I'm using 800x600 as standard.

1600x1200, I'm using 1280x1024...
My comp allowes 1200x1600 but the image doesn't fit the screen thats wierd :dolt: everithing above 1024x768 doesnt have edges like I can't see the taskbar I rhink the problem is that the monitor supports 1024x768 but thinks he's a tough guy and says hey I can do 1200x1600 but well dream on.

A better question is probably to find out what people are running their monitors at.
Mine goes to 16x12, but I run it at 11x8

CURSED LCD! Got it so I wouldn't have to lug around a big CRT monitor. And now I pay the price.

LCD ?
Can you play Q3A ?
I heard when using LCDs, ghost image tend to pop up (due to pixel-by-pixel refreshing instead of the whole screen), right ?

This older piece of garbage only supports 1024 x 768 at 60Hz.

1280x1024. A nice, clean, crisp NEC MultiSync LCD 1850E and I'm using the VGA to DVI adaptor that came with my Radeon 8500 and it looks a lot better than using the VGA out.

Delta Corp. 15-incher, 1280x1024 max, but that's only @ 60Hz... I prefer to run in 1024x768 (any higher, I get a weird whining noise coming from the circuitry...).
1600X1200 @ 75, 85 Hz

Sony GDM-FW900 24" flat display CRT.
Max res 2304x1440 which is ridiculously small, I run at 1920x1200.
Replaced my old ViewSonic 19", I thought that was awful good this is drop dead awesome. Downside is the thing weighs 92 lbs.!
