still no chance to play Soldier, Heroes of WWII, whatever.
----------

does somebody have ideas about CoH and SHoWWII?
because Soldier HoWWII is an amazing game after playing the demo, hope now CoH is better than it, because now it will have better chance to do better marketing and in game mission planning...

Never heard of Soldier, so I really can't comment.

The Pathetic AI in soldiers really hurts it.

I can't check it right now, but if soldiers is the game I'm thinking of, then I'm completely sure Relic will beat it into the ground. That game has about zero replay factor, it's completely scripted and the voiceacting makes me want to vomit (the generic german infantryman's death is "oh well! tonight we'll get some schnapps to ease the pain..." in the cheesiest accent they could muster. ).

That game is horrible once you get past the graphics, and if CoH can't steamroll it, then Relic obviously needs new staff, because it's just that bad.

That and CoH (hopefully) will not have crappy Starforce copy protection.

If it ain't published by Codemasters, it won't be using Starfoce Copy Protection. ;)

Ubisoft has also gotten into the habit of using Starforce.

I dont know if I am allowed to criticize soldiers heroies of WW2 blah blah...but I will

Briefing: To save a russian corps, thousands of russian soldiers, you need to breaktrough the enemy lines at village...You are given 1 tank (err what?) and 3 soldiers (err..bwhahahaha).

Click soldier. Open backpack. Take spade. Dig. Backpack. Cut wire. Press to go prone. Damn clicked wrong on backpack. Oh sigh enemy tank came in and machine gunned me...

That game was unplayable...

Now now, the game was freakishly easy if you managed to get into a medium-large tank, and carried a repair kit.

I remember when I disabled a panther tank, then spent a good 45 mins collecting ammunition/fuel for it, then charging around the map ripping everything to shreds.
