this is an FXMOD1.04 Progenitor MOD 1.04 Beta-Release,from chinese. but had aready translated to english.
the download file is a exe,decompression it and distill the "en" folder to recover the english.big of game data catalog.

It's not bad, but the progenitor ships seem pretty lightly armed.
And if I'm not mistaken, you're using Enterprise-E's QJE as one of your ships (the Titan). I do hope you had permission to use it.
The ai of the kadeshi multibeam frigate could use some work as well. It really shouldnt just stop, sit in one place, and fire... At the very least you should try to make them attack the way they did in HW 1. Just go into the attack scripts for them (or make a new one) and add barrel roll to the firing actions, and give a really high number to it.
Also, I'd give it an attackrun, rather than move to target and shoot, but that isnt really necessary.
The ai for the progenitor strike craft could use some tweaking as well. When they attack capital ships they make an attack run, but dont go far enough past the enemy, so when they turn they cant get a good firing solution on the enemy.

I'm usually not stumped at how to do this but I cannot figure out how to download this MOD into my game properly to make it work....
It turns into chinese writing and i replace the english.big file with the english.big file in the folder that is 102kb in size but that doesnt work then i replaced the english.big file with the one that is 120kb in size and it turns it back to english but doesn't play the FX mod why not ?????
can u offer a simple here is how u do it --- ???? i would totally appreciate it....

I will tell you what this mod does.
it contains the races Kadeshi and progrnitor. theres nothing new for the kadeshi but theres alot of new ships for the progys. they have frigates and cruisers. One ship doesnt work. here are some screenies. sorry if there are a little big. but they are 640x480px
Sajuk_Ally: you are supposed to back up your original english big file. then choose the english big thats in the "En" folder. you must extract the files to your desktop before you find it. hope this helps ;)

it just a beta release , so hard to avoid such problems.apropos of the Titanship,it certainly from Enterprise-E's QJE,but mad up a bit edition.the permission for Enterprise-E's QJE haven't been asked for and i'm sorry to it.I will contain the author as soon as possible.If anyone give me the way to contain him,it will be wally.
the AI will coming soon with new release MOD,just wait...

Ehh, Not to be negitive, but this doesn't have enough to be called a mod... Plus I get really defensive when it comes to people talking about Progenitor mods. Please for the love of god, My mod is the furthest advanced progenitor mod out there. If you want to help and contribute to my mod. Please DO SO!!!

lol, it was the most advanced(well, still is for now)but not until "the first time" mod comes out. Also, from the screenshots, it doesn't look like much has benn done.

Shipyard, If you do have any converters... how do you think of merging with Me and Outrider? I think it would be possible? Dunno if it would work of not, but since I didn't like the "untill the 'the first time' mod comes out" part, ehh why not give it a shot?

Does anyone see new ships in those screenies? The only addition I see is the Vanaar-Jet, which from what I remember the author stated he didn't want anyone using it in their own mods under any circumstances.

Well, the "new" progenitor ships are basically hacked up version of the stock ones.
the drone, mover, and keeper were all modified to "look" like new ships, but really they all still look about the same.
And the weapons loadouts for most of the progen ships suck. Really.

Actually, for me laziness isn't the problem, it's the slow servers hosting the file. It will take about 50 minutes to download, so I really want to see the difference to know whether it's worth it or not.
As for the ships being "hacked up," do you mean physically changed slightly, or just the specs (.ship, .wepn, etc.)?

hacked up as in someone getting at it with a cutting torch and a welder. Like they cut off some parts, reattached them elsewhere, or maybe beat out the hull with a hammer to give it a different shape...
All of the frigates are OBVIOUSLY the keeper, but modified a bit. (Or at least based HEAVILY on the keeper.) All of the fighters are just drones with parts missing, and/or rearranged, and the same goes for the corvettes (movers).
