Yeah, I've seen it already. While the base itself is quite cool, the price for it is obviously from another world. I don't get it. Who is actually going to buy it? I know Poland is poor country, but the thing seems to be overwhelming expensive even for UK or US standards.

On the other side (to stop the rant about prices) it inspired me and my friend to make our own base similar to this. It will problably turn out 50 times cheaper.

Jesus thats expensive. I would just make Terrain pieces that looked kinda like the IG buildings from DOW.

They are awsome, but not worth it. None of the terrain is worth it from FW in my opinion.

I'd buy it at that price if it were a full scale Imperial base I could stash my wargaming table...

Otherwise I think i'll give it a miss.

However, you underestimate the spending power of many wargamers. Veterans are usually highly paid graduates with a desire to own such things that disregards cost. I dare not even mention how many forgeworld Elysians a freind of mine has.

It's the kind of thing and group of players could band together and buy.

As for FW terrian not being worth the money. I would need to disagree, our gaming group has spent a fair amount on FW terrian and as such our table looks bloody amazing when we play.

I've been 17 and skint and played with books under a mat and using cardboard ruins from the 2nd ed. box and I didn't like it.

Now I'm older and can afford to buy terrian, why not.
