An old idea of mine now emerges. I have never done a fluff mod, and I still do not intend to so don't say ANYTHING about fluff. Ill need some help with this one, mostly modeling and hard points.
I will try and do as many attrib as i can, and i will be doing all the WTP. Ill be doing much of the maping, but if others wan't to make maps they may.
Back Story.
A planet known as Theo sits near the edge of space. It is a clam Planet, hasn't had a war in 250 years. Ten years ago Two space marine Chapter, Hunter of the fallen and the Space lord, set up their command here. The Hunter of the Fallen was a Group of selective space marine dedicated to hunting the forces of Chaos. The Space lords were dedicated to planetary control, orbital and ground. The space lord's last mission was to take control of Erin 4, a planet that had been overrun by a dying Chaos chapter. The battle for the planet lasted only 10 hours, the chaos forces surrendered and were take prisoner for questioning. They would be taken to Theo, and then the HotF would take it from there, only it didn't happen that way. The fleet disappeared. It was nearly a year until a Ship carrying the ID of the space lords returned. The ship was the flagship belonging to the Space lords, Exterminator 9. Soon 8 other ships arrived, half the Space lord fleet. Once orbital control asked them to dock, they attacked. The ID's changed from space lord to Pain lord. The attack was swift, as all their attacks had been. So swift Orbital control was taken out without alerting the Hunter of the Fallen. Assault boats were launched in mass to the planet, starting a full-scale war, the first for this planet.

In short Im (we) are creating a Chaos chapter and space marine Chapter. It will have new made up units, story planet ECT.

This may not be the adding of a new side, it may just be a complete rework of the current race.

New Unit.
Chaos, tank.
Ripper; A heavy battle tank Made from an augmented Predator. armed with Twin, Twin auto cannon (one on ether side, removed from fallen defiler) and 2 Twin storm bolter. The storm bolter are mounted on the front of the tank, both near ether tread. It is about 1/4 wider than the standard predator and about twice as high with a round front. 4050 HP, heavy vehicle armor. 850 requisition, 350 power, 4 support, limit 2.
Tainter; Unarmed healing vehicle. Projects a chaos taint aura to heal nearby infantry. A rhino coverd with blood and bodies. Serves as a mobile Chaos aura and can lob grenade (via ability) at enemies (smoke, frags, and other)
Infantry
Fallen marine; Much like a normal Chaos space marine. They do not have horns on their helmet. They are normal space marine that have strayed twords chaos, so they are closer to space marine that Chaos space marine. http://gamestats.gamespy.com/whammer40kwa/web/images/chaos_marines.gif

Armed with Standard bolters. they can be outfitted with heavy bolter, flame thrower and shoulder Cannon. Squad of 5-12. 300 HP, 200 moral. They are a little cheaper than standard Chaos space marine.
Elite Squad. A squad of aspiring champion, minus the flag. Elite combat unit. Armed with storm bolter (the same ones as terminator have) and chain sword. they can be upgraded with plasma gun, power sword and power fist (as all elite squad have). Squad 4-8 (plus lesser sorcerer 'sergeant") individual cost 40 requisition, 20 power and 12 second build. 2 Squad cap, but limited at 2 squad. 550 HP, 500 moral. The lesser sorcerer has 650 hp enhances the squads regeneration and can cast chains of torment.
Building
Entrenchment. A heavy defense building, armed with 2 Twin heavy bolter (same as on bolter turret) an auto cannon (some as predator). Can upgrade to add on a 4th gun, twin rocket launcher. It’s a circular building, the same size as a sacrifice circle. the auto cannon is in the center of the building (not on top in) it spins around and fires, the rocket launcher get added on right next to it. so you then have the auto cannon, and a rocket on ether side. the bolter are located on top, as usual on ether side. they are the same as on the heavy bolter turret. cost, 1000 requisition 600 power. 7000 HP.
Think of it as a round da boyz hut with an auto cannon and later 2 rockets in the middle, and with no grotz.
Space marine
Vehicle
Crusher Energy tank; A heavy tank made for hunting daemon and chaos base. A Land raider variant. Armed with large plasma gun and a lascannon on ether side. Instead of a storm bolter a multi melta. On top is a Daemon cannon. (if i cannot get the tank modeled it will have the storm bolter and moded las cannon.)
Infantry
Citizen in arms; Citizen with whatever they could get. The greatest infantry ever. Just a bunch of citizen with guns and armor. Armed with bolter, bolter pistol, las gun and plasma pistol. Just think of the normal imperial Citizen as seen in mission 3 of the DOW campaign. Men and women with Guardsmen armor vest on carrying bolter pistol. They can be upgraded with Las gun, Bolter and plasma pistol. 15 person squad. cost 6 requisition, 1 Squad cap and have 100 HP each. 100 moral. NOTE: for whoever models this, try and put in allot of model variation, men and women, warring their normal cloths with the guardsmen armored vest over that and occasionally a Hemet.
Daemon killer; Physic infantry trained to hunt daemon. Think of them as weak librarian with helmet and Axe. They have the same armor as a librarian and have a standard space marine helmet on. They carry Plasma pistol And Staff axe. Instead of grenade they have Smite, it has a longer cool down than the librarian's. They can also channel their power to teleport a short range. Their Physic power allows them to easily get at daemon. Their axe is much like a power sword, but also adapted to channel their power to a single point on it. 3-6 man squad. Limited at 1. Takes 4 squad. 100 requisition 60 power each. 900 HP, Commander armor. No moral.
Elite Deathwatch team. An elite team of CC space marine. not much diferant from the ones seen in Blood angels and Daemon hunters.

Eving more new units.
Space marine
Heavy weapon squad. space marine squad armed with heavy bolter, can be upgraded to rockets and shoulder cannon. 4-8 man squad. low melee combat ability.
Chaos
Savage weapon squad. Heavy bolter armed infantry. can be upgraded with missile launcher and shoulder cannon. 4-8 man squad. Low melee combat ability.

Weapons
Both, Light prism. An energy based weapon. simaler to eldar fire prism but much shorter range.
Shoulder cannon. Infantry carred light battle cannon/auto cannon. slow rof med damage anti heavy infantry, vehicle and building.
Space Marine
Daemon cannon; A charged energy weapon. It impacts the target with a chared plasma Shot, while there is no explotion it causes massive damage on impact. however due to its nature, it is ineffective on vehicle and building.
Staff Axe. A power weapon Complete with physic enhancement. (looks like the head tech priest's axe in WA crosed with the shaft of a force weapon).


That’s it for now.
Ill need help with this one. I need the help of skilled modelers. Ill need some help editing and maybe a mapper. Ill also need someone who can write SCAR script for AI and scenario. Ill try and get some concept sketch later so the modelers will know what they are doing.

Here are a fer shots of the skining going on. i have created the Elite squad, but they don't have thier model and i havent fine tuned them. i have skined the chaos marine.

btw you prolly shouldnt have used the IW mod pic. it made me lose some intrest in your mod.

I think this mod strays from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, most notably in your choice of radically new vehicles. Even if your mod remains uncancelled, you may have difficulty finding people to work on it due to it's obscurity.

People Should be a little more original, like im doing. you know think outside the model box.
Besides, the Whole point is to beable to create your own army/chapter. i intend to.
And if anyone must know i plan to do as many attrib, skins and maps as i can. i don't have any tools to model, much less the skill.

hate this whole idea :/ probably just because im a 40k fluff maniac.. most stuf fin the mod isnt possible in 40k.
the prism weapon- chaos, and nomral space marines both share the idea of hating Xeno technology. they would never take an eldar gun no matter how good it is.

the ripper tank-Chaos and the Imperium alike cannot simply design new tanks. the Tech priests and adeptus mechanicus don't have a clue what they're doing when mthey make a land raider, they just build it. Time has passed on so long that they don't understand that the tank is simply metal and oil. They believe each machine has a god incarnate in it, the only living vehicles are dreadnoughts (fallen marines are implanted in) and the defiler (summoned daemons are ancased)

landspeeder thing- land speeders are to light to carry a lascannon effectively... itd tip every fire it made... also carries reasons from ripper tank.

I must say I do like the army painter screen.. having buildings and a squad in the background is pretty cool.. even better, make the squad an in-game squad that moves around the screen randomly and has enemies attack them (bt make the squad invulnerable) so you can see your men in battle before you go in a game, if you do this i wanna be the first to get it ^.^

The story with the Ripper is that it is using weapons Riped from other vehicle. Thus its name. The auto cannon were taken off fallen defiler and the bolter could come from anywhare. i guess the tainter can be changed. mabe a chaos taint arra and no guns, so it severves as a mobile healer. ill rewrite a few things.
So the Tainter will be a rhino varyant that could act as a mobile sacrifce area. It could be covered in dead bodie and project the chaos taint aura, much the same as the bloodthirster can do.
The ripper is a preadator with added armor and moved weapon mount. the light prism could be a modefyed las cannon. Lets just say That some inovative minds cam along and coame up with thease weapons and vehicle, yet never say whare it comes from.

I'll help! The WIPs look pretty good, even though it supports traitor marines. :kami:

-I have skills with .lua files (make new units etc)
-If someone can show me how to do something, I can learn it.
-I really would like to make some skins or textures
-It would be nice to mod something 3D!
-I have connections to 3D school peoples who animate really cool stuff ( Ill see if I can find a link to it)

EDIT:
PS- the weapons and uber tank are kinda, IDK its your mod...

I don't need much help with the LUA. Realy the only help i need is for programing the brand new stuff. Ill need is the hard point to be programed by the model maker. When it comes to hard point and SFX there isn't much i can do. I don't have the proper tools to add SMF and get the coordinate of weapon muzle. 3d max was a rip off. i had it for about 3 days then i uninstaled it. i instaled it again just after i got dow and it said my 30 day trial had expired. i only used it once and i found that BS. It was around $200 to buy the program. what a rip. I went to several store and 3ds max was 250 and up.

So i need people to model things for me. Unless Milk shape 3d gets Plugin for DOW i won't be doing anything.

iv added a 56k warning. i may not get mush work done during the week due to school things. Right now im at a dead point. without models im stuck with what DoW has got. For the daemon hunter squad a modefyed inquisitor model will work. put a space marine helmet on and flaten the edge of the hammer into an axe shape. the inquisitor model had the perfect animation and ability for this.
