Homeworld Movies

Does anyone know how to view the movies shown in between levels without having to go back and reconquer any given level?

You can view the movies outside of HW with the .big extractor and a .bik viewer. No sound though.

I don't think there's any way to access the movies in-game though, I just always saved right before hyperspacing (mission14end or something like that).

Yeah, it's best to just save before hyperspacing. That's what I always did.

But I've got a question too: How can I extract the YES song? (you know, the one played in the credits)

Good question, I've always wanted to do that myself, or at least the background music in the game. It has a .WXD extension, whatever that is.

I imagine it's also in the .big file, I'd just ask over in the editing forums.

You might need a sound converter too, not sure, I've been out of the modding loop for a while...

just DL it with either WinMX (http://www.winmx.com) or Morpheus (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-1896420-100-6525083.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-1.6525083) or any other file-sharing app. :)
