View Full Version : EBP help needed (via Object Editor.)

Hello, I am working on a Army Painter Mod and I want to change some units animations so they hold a different weapon, problem is I dunno anything about the Object Editor, I have their EBP files but I dunno how to change the animations. Could someone with experiance in the Object Editor please help me? And if you're wondering what units I want changed, they are:
Force Commander: Power Sword to Daemon Hammer.
Tankbusta: Slugga to Rokkit Launcha.
Fire Dragon: Knife to Fusion Gun.
Warlock/Seer Council: Sword to Witchblade.
Commissar: Sword to Power Fist.
Priest: Chainsword to Eviscerator.

Ah thats why you post like 2 different persons.
Why doesn't he make his own account and the goal of your mod was too see every unit config in the army painter?

He only rarely posts, that's why he doesn't bother to get his account up.
My original goal was to show every unit wielding a different weapon (IE, Space marine with a bolter, flamer, heavy bolter, plasma rifle and rocket launcher,) but now I got every normal unit in the army painter and I just want to give certain units their proper in-game weapon (cept the comissar, who I just want to give the power fist cuz it looks cool,) seeing as how I am to object editor as a farmer is to a computer, I'm stuck at a brick wall, hence this topic. (Didn't know he was trying to help me, nice of him to do that.)

I think if you look under 'race' you will see a section about teamcolour_preview. That gives you the models.

In object editor? I see nothing with race in the object editor. Are you getting mixed up with attribute editor? I'm good at attribute editor, but bad at object editor. Maybe if I offered something, someone would do this, I'd really apprichiate it, my army painter mod would finally be complete!

Im talking about AE, you'd need to copy each model that will be in the preview which needs a non default weapon and give them that weapon then insert that model into the race-> teamcolour preview. When you select the new weapon for the model it will use the correct animation, the animations are controlled from within AE.

According to another person, giving units weapons in the AE doesn't effect the army painter, he/she said you had to edit their animations directly. Can you prove them wrong? EDIT: Tried what you said, it did not work. Can't somebody help me quickly? I can send them the files, they change the stuff, then give me back the fixed files and everybody is happy!
