hey there all, Kabong here

This is obvisouly my first post, as the spelling is incorrect. I am an art student at the Art Institute of Seattle specializing in Multimedia and Web design. I have joined the RDN primarly for my development class in which i am required to make "something," I hope i can make a game for that "something." While this is currently for school, I hope i can make a game/mod for myself or rather with a group of friends who are very interested in game design. With that said i was wondering about the functionallity of the IC engine, as i was hoping on making a squad based adventure/rpg game and the IC engine looks like something that is the most closely tuned engine for the job, if that sounds like it might work to anyone please tell me. Otherwise i was planning on making a mod for HW or maybe HW:C, just something to get my feet wet. I have someskill in 3d modeling(basic 3ds max skills, nothing fancy), pretty good 2d photoshop skills(in my humble opinion), and well adept in flash/director(i know a good deal of LIngo programming for Director) and various other skills if anyone was curious of my capabilities. Sorry for any spelling errors or punctuation mistakes in this post as i am writing it during the break in class and have no time for revision.

Welcome, check out the modding forums and don't forget to have a look in our Gallery forum where you'll find some other talented artists to chat and share with.

Don't worry about the spellcheckers... we have ways of dealing with them :)

cheers...

Wow... you're talented in everything I'm not. You must be like the anti-Dan or whatever. We'd best not meet. There might be a large explosion or something. Yeah.

Welcome \o/
