Wanted to share a simple tip with any IG players.
When you buy the assault weapons blister you get 1 melta 1 plasma gun.
I don't have a need for as many meltas as plasma but the thought hit me , convert them .
I cut the melta gun off just infront of the band the forward hand grip is attached to using a jewlers saw (cutting with a cliper and filing will work ).
I cut a Space marine plasma pistol off just infront of the trigger at the largest part .
Once I sanded both sides smooth I drilled a hole and added a parerclip pin to hold them together .
when I put them together I put some putty between them before smushing them together (no glue needed ).
let this dry over night cut and sand off the excess and paint .
just a simple idea but it worked well
