I think in the single-player game of CoH, should be like this: every time you win a battle you move on in the game, but if you lose, you have to go back to the last town or what ever and defend it from a counter attack.

Anyway, i thought it would be a cool idea so let me know what you guys think.

That would be cool but then to stop your self from going back 1 lvl you'd just "save game" so you'll never loose. But to stop that they juat make it so you can't save, but games could take a while to beat and not everyone has the time to play an hour or longer per map.. thats what i think but good idea

In theory, it's alright. But it'd also be the single fastest way to get the player to chuck their monitor out a window in pure anger and frustration.
