Well, as you all know Microsoft says that the demo will 'be out sometime between [the 3rd] and Monday.' Think of it this way. I think the demo should be out today. This is how I figure it. If it is between then and monday, it shouldn't be on monday. Then that would leave today and tommorow. Tommorow is sunday. Honestly, do you think Microsoft will have very many people to do such things on a sunday? Think of it that way, and maybe it will be right.

i been thinking the exact same thing, if i was working there, i would want to work saturday early so i could play it my self, that way i can get home by noonish mid afternoon saturday and get all day sunday. But since i have to work sunday part of the day anyways, it dont help me much.

Also, me and one guy are on friends list, so we can get some good teamwork in, if you wanna join us my gamertag is Hoshbin. We decided to do this because yesterday we were expecting to get some gameplay in before school ended, and all the kiddies got on, i dont mind kids, its just most of the little brats that think their cool and scream cuss and order you around are in the kiddie school age. little punks, im ever scared to ever get on halo 2 for that very reason.

You'd think so, but it could be that the employees aren't actually gamers, just people doing their job. I'm hoping they are gamers though, and will hurry and get it up. When was the last time you checked for it? It's been a few hours for me. It would suck if it's been up for like three hours, and we didn't know.

eh, i just watch the forums, when i see "OMG DEMO YES WOOOOOOT" about 50 thousand times.. then i know the demo's up. there has to be a few ppl at microsoft that cares, i mean, not every employee is a heartless money grabber, ya some ppl are, but not everyone. I know id work in this situation, so there has to be some ppl that would.. heck i worked my days off at mcdonalds all the time, and i was in school.

When they said between then and monday I wonder if they meant the end of monday. I sure hope not. Sunday is better than monday. Saturaday is the best.

i have not a clue, the only thing i guess we would find out is if one of the relic ppl was in touch with microsoft and relayed to us here. but my guess there all on the day off.

o, well i already knew that, i was in college for game development, but couldnt stand being infront of the computer that long, drove me nuts, id rather be on heavy equipment. actually i was talking about the guys that upload stuff on xbox live, it sure would be nice if they uploaded that demo today... yep sure would be nice to play another great relic game on my xbox 360, which is collecting dust...yep.

actually yes, about 5 ppl are doing it on one thread and giving back the details, one guy did it about 5 times, the post is to about 100 posts, in about a couple of hours, of course 1/4 is spam, they even called teh 1-800 number a few times, their even trying to find relics and THQ's phone numbers, and emailed THQ few times too... all for just a demo. Man, people are bored this weekend.

In case you're stil obsessing, Major Nelson talks about Xbox Live Marketplace content releases on this week's podcast. You can find it at www.majornelson.com about 6:45 into the latest show.

If you're too lazy to listen :), he basically says that sources outside of the Xbox Live team (in our case IGN) may not have the correct dates and they will "rarely" release content on a Friday afternoon because of potential technical problems that are easier to deal with during the week. He was specifically talking about the GRAW demo, but I'm sure it applies to The Outfit too.
