So the latest major drug craze hitting the nation is methamphetamines.

Yes they literally rot your brain, and even if you kick the addiction (which can take hold after your third use), you'll likely suffer from serious and debiliatating brain damage.

Yes the production of the drug creates mini toxic waste dumps in rural areas where authorities are neither trained nor equipped to handle the problem.

Yes it is generally a bad thing.

But hey! The revenue it generates stays right here in the states. This is a HOME GROWN drug! This is a drug who's sales revenue lands right in the pocket of good ol' American Citizens. . . this drug is helping to promote local and regional economies.

I say, if you're stupid enough to do drugs, do drugs that are made right here in the goold ol' U.S. of A.! Keep the economy strong.
