Senior members should be able to search more than once every 30 seconds.

Well, I've searched multiple times on the forum and I have run into that "30 second" time limit. However, by the time I figure out that i've not found what I'm looking for, I have just a few more seconds to wait.

The time limit also descreases the amout of "strain" on the server having to query the database multiple. I feel that it is a limit that is both short, and long enough.

It doesn't cause me any problems. By the time I've worked out that my last search was crap and entered another, the 30 seconds are usually up anyway.

considering the normal members have to wait 120 seconds, I think 30 secs is fine.

What about decreasing it to 15 seconds and keeping an eye on the strain it causes. If it dosent impact the forums, great. If not, then it can go back up.

I think it's fine at 30 seconds. You can use the time to think up a more effective search.

I would assume that decision is taken regardless of member status.
Delphy runs the server. He sets the limit. If he thinks 30 secs are ok to have a decent performance, especially since those 30 sec were implemented very recently, it is not for us to complain.

BTW. Severijn You are wrong. All have 30 secs. Unless changed again later.
