Oh mighty and beneficent great MODers, I bow before your greatness. I am but a humble noob, weak in my skills and seek help.

I'm trying to figure out how to adjust some of the guard units and try them out in the WA campaign. I can get the tweaks to show up in the skirmish mode, but I have no camp options when the momd is loaded. If I use the game manager to switch to the WA "Mod", then I can play the camp but my tweaks don't show up (of course).

Please smile upon my request and pour out your mighty wisdom upon this humble noob.

In order to play the campaign in your mod, you are going to have to put the campaign into the mod folder. It should be as simple as copying the folder .../Dawn of War/WXP/Data/Scenarios/SP into your mod folder (under the same path except WXP is replaced by <yourmod>). The problem is that this folder doesn't normaly exist. It is compressed into the WXPData.sga archive file. You can use the Mod Package Tool to extract this data and then cut and paste.

I thank you for your desire to help. I'm sure the wiki tutorials will come in very handy when I start building my own campaign.

And don't mind my golden (or at least gold plated copper) tounge - I just like to have fun on occasion.

"Ah, thank you broter maynard. Right - 1, 2, 5!!!"

"Uh, 3 sir."

"Right, 3!"

This is the missing like I needed. Thank you kindly. Now I just need to fire up my packager. ...

EDIT: Looks like I'm still missing a link or two, and the WA campaign doesn't work either. I unpackaged the wxp data files and copied the SP folder to my data\scenerios folder and still the campaign isn't listed as a choice. Do I need to add some lines to my .module file?

<Random Thought>
I find it ironic that I've never used the Mod Packager for anything but *UN* packaging Mods...things that make you go "What is WRONG with him??!?"

ahHA!!! I just needed to edit the .camp files to indicate that it should be included in my mod rather than the wxa mod. nothing like poking around the code to figure things out

Yes. Sorry, I forgot about that. It's been awhile since I tried to move any of the campaigns around. I assume all is well then?
