I believe this is the anti-double post hack in action?
Assuming you posted one post, and then posted another without another person's post between them.

Well, if you expressed yourself a bit more clearly it'd be easier to understand what you're getting at.

If you want to post two posts right after eachother, why? There's no point in doing just that.
If you want to edit your first post, click the edit button on it, the one with a scissors over a page icon. You know, like this:

*shrug*

Also, shouldn't this be posted in forum issues? (cleverly testing if there is a double post hack) (yup, there is)

There is a hack in place to prevent double-posting. As Chrys said, use the edit button to amend your posts if necessary.

How bout this for some advice - slow down a little (64 posts over the past six days is excessive for anyone, let alone someone learning the ropes), stop making new threads with stupid subjects that get locked straight away... observe others a bit more, look around a little more and learn how things are done by way of osmosis rather than this crash tackle technique you've got going on.

Try using punctuation too.

Incidently, does the anti-double-post hack factor in how long ago the last post was made(ie. if I make a new post 2 days after my initial one and someone hasn't replied yet) or will it auto-merge regardless of amount of time since last post?

It will not work if the post is older than a certain cutoff age, but I have no idea what it is set to.
