CoH movie remakes

We have been told that company of heroes will include some sort of movie maker. First movie that came to my mind was "saving private ryan" just wondering what movies other people on the forums may be planning to remake? Sorry if this is a thread of lockable status :hide:

Depends on the complexity of this movie tool. If it is user friendly I might give it a shot, though making a complete movie might prove impossible either way.

With some mapping skills, and a friendly movie editor, I don't see any problem with remaking (at least parts) of Saving Private Ryan. I will most likely have a try at it, unless it's god damn hard to use.

Well it's better than making a campaign of Warhammer 40k in WW2 settings...
But seriously, think about it - a mod that makes the game looks like Starcraft, and a campaign made with the map and the movie editor.
I think that this time, modding scene whould be all about campaigns.

I'd rather go for something original than remaking Saving Private Ryan. That movie already exists and no matter how hard you try, your's won't be better.

Xan: of course it won't be better. 1 kid using a game vs one of best directors ever, real life accounts etc etc :) Be fun to give it a go though. The end fight at the bridge.

What would be awesome is to recreate the scenes, but allow a free camera so people could watch what was happening from wherever they wanted.

This film will show the war from german sight. But it will be some fictional. There are no british!
