This is an interesting interview, where you get a description of the game, and its various features, by its developers.
Go HERE (http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_coh_interview.html) and give your opinion!
(sadly, the ingame footage is old and known)

Nice find.
It's an interview with Relic Senior Graphics Programmer, Ian Thompson and Lead Designer, Josh Mosqueira BTW.

Hell, that interview is GREAT.
Now, let me say that I already saw an interview with Josh Mosqueira (on some E3 reportage) and I really thought that relic needs to put it's developers through a free speech - course. The things he said were good back then, but the way he said them was still lacking.
Sure this one is a completely different beast compared to a "live" interview, but I also saw enough devs fail such interviews, making them boring and hard to follow.
This interview is interview goddness. The background music, Joshs and Ians interation and explanations and the ingame footage mesh together so well (dare I say perfect) I'm actually watching this one the second time right now. (A rare thing for me when it comes to interviews)
So Buggo, if you read this, get over to Josh' resp. Ians office and give them a thumbs up for a job well done.

Id'love to see that kind of backround music to the most intense scenes in Company of Heroes.
I mean, it gives another "feel" to the action, specially to those critical situations of heavy losses and near failure...
I noticed the official site has WA backround music. hope it gets fixed with real ww2 orchestra music. I trust RELIC and THQ, they amazed me with HW soundtrack, and Warhammer. I am sure they will do it again!

THQ really needs to promote the game better. This video is fantastic, but nobody was informed of it until I found it yesterday. This is the kind of stuff we should be spreading around!

Do you all believe, that in my country, only 3% of the people know all de "known" details of this game... mostly COH its another ww2 RTS... i try to enlighten them... but until a demo comes out, its hard...

Ya, I really wish we could start spreading the news. A lot of the hype around the game is countered with "oh no, not another WW2 game....on the western front. Theres nothing new here blah blah blah." I just wish we could start spreadin the news on other video game sites, but the NDA prevents most of that.
Nice video by the way. Theres a couple screenshots ive never seen before, I really like the one where some american paratroopers have manned a german flak gun and are shootin some nazis :p

A suggestion to help hyping the game: I have been on alot of Day of Defeat, Call of Duty servers (Australia) and have found not many have heard of the game so I generally push them in the direction of the main site (www.companyofheroes.com (http://www.companyofheroesgame.com)). I'm starting to get a positive response from alot of the players. Both games have been running the same maps for quite awhile now, so there are alot of bored WW2 fps players looking for something new.
While I get a bit of flack from the die-hard players the majority seem very receptive to the idea of CoH.

I registered few days ago but I've been reading these forums for few weeks before I decided to registrate myself here.
Now I see the oportunity to write about a worry that many fans of this great game see:
Belive this THQ, people is not aware of how amazing this game is. You can go to forums very populated with high activity, with more than 60k members and when I posted about this game, detailing how amazing it is, all the features that make it unique and showing them some links to videos and screens Do you know what the 10-20 repliers said?
"Nothing special I see, althought the ragdolls and explosions look good" that' was an example, another one is "Bah just another RTS" or "Pfff more WW2 games? Don't we have enough shooters already?"
And I was like, "what the..."
I'm for sure buying this game, I'm not going to rent it (I always rent games before buying them) or download, I'll go directly to buy it same day it is released in my island.
But... I think that when I buy this game I'll be helping/suporting THQ very little since a single sale is like a grain of sand in a long beach, it means nothing. THQ needs, in my opinion make the game known across the globe not only in "Hardcore Gamers Reviews/URLs" A.k.a. Fileplanet/IGN/Gamespot/PC Gamer... before they release it.
A lot of casual gamers don't search for games in net, they usually buy one or two Game Magazines per year or go to the store next to their houses and buy or rent the first game they think have some quality by reading the back of the package.
I know that I should bring a solution when I "show up" a problem but it's not my job, it's THQ's job. I'm not going to tell them how to do their marketing but as a fan of this company I felt the responsibility to share my thoughts about their game.
I hope you are enjoying your summer. Have fun guys.

Kemita - you are of course right, but the hype machine for a game is usually only really started a few weeks prior to the shipping date, since peoples memories are short and comercials cost money on end.
I think the upcoming open beta will do more to spread word of mouth and THQ has learned much about hyping a game from their other titles, including DoW, which was a unexpectedly great commercial success.
Time will tell, but I'm optimistic.

including DoW, which was a unexpectedly great commercial success.
Well part of the reason behind the success of DoW was that there is alot of people interested in that universe ;)
CoH will draw a good amount of players from DoW though. The game might not be a huge success right away but I'm sure if it isn't that it will be soon after. The game will probally get great reviews and word will get around. If the game is as good as relic is promising then I can't see how CoH couldn't be huge.
