To those still on the forums, how is balance in 2.700 compared to previous versions? For example, I like playing as the Axis Defensive doctrine (which I've improved somewhat) but I never used to see people play it in vanilla, and it's extremely rare to see it used in old replays.

Any general comments?

Im an old time coh player been around since vanilla coh. what is the purpose of gimping every single thing the nazis had. I can see the fun in having a hard faction but giving the allies unlimited arty (as in giving the calliope 125 ammo recharge was fair) , taking away even the barbed wire cutters and gimping the nazis out of being able to field two tigers (as opposed to two pershings..what was wrong with that?). I mean the elites get two panthers for every 1000 manpower. What was the purpose in not having more tigers on the field. Last and not least lets not forget the famous pioneer nerf I mean they were super all powerfull. All in all vanilla coh was and still is the best looking game even compared to coh 2. Really I'd prefer coh 1 to coh 2. I just dont get it. Millions of dollars spent on making a fun game not fun its not normal....are you guys alright? Right now you need a team or at least good players facing a weak allied team in coh 1 for nazis to win. Then lets not even mention that with too many losses noone will play with you if your stats bad. At least in coh 1 the skirmish games counted as a real win. Now as it is players just play teams and will not do randoms at any cost. Once and for all we will pay for cool stuff in coh 1 for things that make no difference in gameplay. Look at world of tanks they will let you buy stupid tanks that make no difference in gameplay I can guarantee you people will play coh 1 if you charge for cool uniforms or something.

You guys think coh2 will be popular because of whatever....but we would of paid for coh 1 just as much as coh 2. I'm new to Company of Heroes, but something I've noticed on a few skirmishes i've tried is that there are never any high fuel points on the map, they are always low fuel points.

Is this a bug?

(I'm on the Aspyr OS X port. If this is definitely a bug, I'll contact their support to fix it)

just getting back into CoH and I remember back a few years ago there was a team of 2 guys who did great replay commentaries and they would always get posted on here I remember that they were really popular and they did a great job. Unfortunately, I cant remember who they were and cant find their vids on youtube. The only vids I can find are one man teams and those just are not as good.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

sry I dont have more info, but they were like the #1 commentary videos on this website, usually their vids would get posted to youtube in like 10 parts
