This is a singleplayer conversion of the skirmish map Bernieres-Sur-Mer. I always felt this map would have more potential if it was an SP map, so that's what I did. It's essentially done, but I'm looking for any feedback or bug reports. And thinking about maybe converting some more skirmish maps (to tide me over until COH2).
Extract to your COH \WW2 directory. In the game's main menu, go to Campaign then choose "SnakeByte Missions" in the dropdown.

Just basically copy pasting everything from http://www.SnakeByteStudios.com/projects/mods/ogledow/, so see there for more info.
This is a remake of a map of the same name from the game Red Orchestra: Ostfront. The terrain height and painting was converted right from the original map, while everything else I added from scratch to be as close as possible to the original. However, you will notice that this map is more detailed and has a couple of buildings which don’t quite match the original.

COH classifies this map as “extra large” and while it is quite large, it doesn’t really feel overwhelmingly large even for two players. There are 13 capturable sectors with two fuels and two ammo sectors per player and a bonus ammo sector in the middle. If you’re playing for victory control points, there are three control points at what are the most defensible areas of the map. These three points (farm, ruins, and village) are also where you’ll see the most infantry combat. The rest of the map is mostly fields and rolling hills perfect for tank combat and AT emplacements.

Hey all,

Had the urge to make a new map after a long layoff :). The idea is that it's a 4-8 player map (still trying to decide how many are needed, but hoping it will work for 2v2/3v3/4v4), set in an industrial port. The fighting (and highest resources, control points etc) is concentrated in the middle square which will be heavily built up with large factories, power plants, etc. Both sides have a very wide landbridge giving access to this, and there is also a large landbridge from one side to allow for more dynamic flanking.

The rest of the dock area is setup for secondary fighting, with destructible/destroyed bridges allowing more control of this area, and also potential flanking action to the enemy base later on. The final area is in the south is a large rail depot with lots of walled off areas and low resource points. This area is less strategically important, but allows for proper tank actions, which will also clear away the walls etc and open up the battlefield later on.

This is my initial layout:

"Definite" Resources each team: 20m, 15f
"Contested" Resources: 30m, 26f

I'm going to put bunkers for both teams on the far side on the bridges to hopefully stop cheesy early pushes, and the land bridges are too wide to block easily.

Any feedback, suggestions or comments welcome!
