Does any one know what happened to Czevak?
I know about the whole him getting captured by Ahriman but have been unable to find any information about if anything else has happened lately.
Well, in the recent world campaign Ahriman was headed for the black library, can't remember if czevek got captured before or after that.
I would assume before since its location was what Ahriman wanted to find from him.
Czevak is seriusly 1 hell of a legend..
Amen to that.
lol.
i thought the eldar got hold of him and incarcaretet him in the black library
Man i would LOVE to be incarcerated in there...
MMMM... Knowledge |
All we know is that Ahriman grabbed him, presumably he is now moving post-haste to the Black Library where odds on he will run straight into the biggest baddest Eldar/Human alliance you ever saw set out to stop him, I seriously doubt that Ahriman will get in (If nothing else every Eldar player in the known world will unite to stop him when the appropriate campaign/sub-campaign begins) but we will just have to wait and see...
super read Codex: Eye of Terror if you have it.
It has a message from Keiras, Czevak's apprentice, to Inquisitor Goreden, on the dissapearance of Czevak on page 15. |
We would know if not for some ludicrously bad decisions on Ahriman's part. He wiped Commoragh off the face of the webway and caused the Dark Eldar to help out the Eldar and Harlequins defend the BL from him. Had Ahriman gotten to the BL, he first would have read the Eisenhorn Trilogy :) and then he would have gained enough knowledge and power to match his patron god. Chaos could have won the EoT campaign. *tear*
And humans aren't allowed into the webway; only that one Inquisitor has ever entered the webway. and a load of tzeenchian daemons and marines durring EoT. |
I hope he gets in. The more campaigns the better :)
It's ironic since I've always played Thousand Sons since I started a 40K army and now I've quit them and started playing Eldar :) Although I was on Magnus' side. Not Ahriman's. |
I think they should just let Ahriman get into the black library, i mean whats so wrong with him have unlimited power and ensalving everybody?
Chaos did actually win. Although it was a very small win.
dont forget about the psyker from the gaunts ghost novel!!!
she was chosen to help save some craftworld so she left gaunt and human civilisation behnd to become 1 of them pointy-ears.... :D |
Even the Chaos Gods don't want Ahriman in the Library.
^that was Inquisitor Lilith right?
yep
the gods dont want him there cuz then he will have the power to over throw them
We all know that since his power would rival theirs should he enter.
But my Iyanden and Loyal Thousand Sons would be there to stop him :) |
yes. lilith.
she sorted out them damn bluebloods :) loyal thousand sons? elaborate!! :D dont let ahriman in the library, he'll disturb the eldar doing homework!rofl |
OK I got a few details wrong, Ahriman has already taken a shot at the BL and been beaten off (surprise surprise) the Eldar have Czevak which has some nice implications for the future, and Ahriman is now in favour with Magnus (which is not a good thing).
Loyal thousand Sons is an oxymoron.
it doesnt work very well imo :P
edit "Come, friendly bombs..." |

He would have got in, too, if not for those meddling kids.. erm.. dark eldar! The big dumbass destroyed commorah, the Dark Eldar homeland. they responded by helping kick his ass away from the precious library. |
Thanks Cailet for clearing that up.
Damn, now I'm no longer Magnus' right hand man/daemon/psyker anymore :( .........Stupid Ahriman........ruins everything...... EDIT: When I said loyal I mean loyal to Magnus, not Ahriman, since he is, or was, exhiled from the legion when he cast the rubric. You thought I meant loyal to the Emperor? HA! Don't make me laugh. The Nazi can rot in his Golden Throne for all I care. |
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he must rule the world, umm i havent heard od this ( havent gotten any new codexs) and link so i can catch up on some reading?
Kaelor Commoragh is alive and as well as a DE city can get, there are rumours that it will be destroyed (alongside a fairly well confirmed one of Eldar and DE co-operating a little in 4th ed) but that is it, if DE were in on defending the BL (which they weren't) they would have taken a shot at getting inside themselves. Read the Ahriman section here http://www.eyeofterror.com/uk/assets/eot-conclusion.pdf for what happened at the BL.
danke you for the link, anybody got a story verison link, that link seems to be long and hard to find info ( is it all about the bl raid)
hmmm... looks like some of my fluff is wrong. crap. i'll fix that.
I thought our beloved Black Sorceror was pissing off everyone with his credo of, "Chaos can be controlled, and magic-men like me will turn chaos to our benefit and use it to help humanity. Humanity specifically under my rule, of course."
lol sounds right :D
Well there never really was a chance for the Thousand Sons to do very well, since the outcome was decided by the campaign. Considering that TS are probably one of the rarer and hardest armies to play well with, facing the reliative numerous eldar players.
dont see why he would want ot help humanity, his amry is just a bunch of empty suits
Cailet thank you for the link. I almost forgot about that site. I thought it went down when the campaign ended.

He sees Chaos as being some sort of inferior primal force to be controlled, and would rather have his men turn into dust rather be mutated by chaos. The Word Bearers would so want to tear him apart, I think. "What? You are saying our gods should be used as batteries for your magic?" |
I did pretty well with them in the campaign. The 2 wounds per basic soldier come in really handy :D
I had difficulty with their lack of high-strength weapons. What am I supposed to use against enemy vehicles? Bolt of Change is very flavorful, but its only one S8 attack.
9 man squad means you get a sorceror for free, buy more bolts, get a dreadnaught, or better yet, land raider, just balance out your points and make sure you have them in the right place at the right time.

Hey I found the Czevak info in a White Dwarf just then! What a worthless thread! :dunce:
I apologise to anyone who had to rummage around to find info for me and appreciate it all. :) Well, I've got to hit the hay now so good night everyone. |
Where does it say Czevak escaped Ahriman? I was under the impression that Ahriman tore the location of the Black Library out of him and then disposed of the corpse. Commoragh hasn't been destroyed, to the best of my knowledge, but I don't think the DE were much more impressed than the Craftworlders when Ahriman and his merry men invaded the webway with the goal of becoming a god. When you get right down to it, I'm not sure many people were happy about it.
It's in White Dwarf 287
Hey i read the white dwarf and it does say that it says ahriman knows where the black libary is when he tore it from chevaks mind but he is not dead just incarcerated in the webway when he was rescued by the harlequins (not the dark eldar).
ALSO it says that ELDRAD ULTUAN IS DEAD is this true i might of read it wrong but i think his soul was devoured by the talisman of vaul he tryed to find which had been corupted by slannesh i may be wrong can someone plaese tell me since i think eldrad is one of the coolest caracters and it would be krap to see him to be dead !!!!!!!!!! |
I just read that on the games workshop website, he is. The talisman was being controlled by Slannesh :( Its really annoying he was so gud!
Well I suppose if Eldrad is dead then they have to redo the eldar codex since we need a new uber character (the phoenix lords dont count) now that he is dead. I hope they dont discontinue that model though cause it is pretty sweet.
Hmmmm.....I wonder what Slaanesh is doing with Eldrad's soul....
It says in the same white dwarf that before he left to go to the talisman with his warlocks he appointed a succesor so maybe this succesor is a new powerful character they will introduce in the new codex.

Squicking it, I'm sure. |

The Inquistor was Jac Draco, right? ( Read it in a Ian Watson novel ) He entered the webway and the BL together with his Cullidus Assassin and a Imperial Fist Space Marine ( Lexandro D'Arquebus, if I remember correct). |
Well Czevak seems to be in close co-operation with the Eldar and has actually been in the BL (within the WW) and Ravenor (I need to get that book) is connected too... I'd say there have been a few over the millenia.
