    Question about pictures?

I have two questions. I know the way you take a picture is by pressing the print screen button. The print screen button is also my home button so I hold down shift and press the button but when I go to my screen shot folder theres nothing there. And also how do I make movies like I saw in the screen shot thread? Thanks.

Well when you press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard it copies the image into your clipboard. You need to open up MS Paint and paste it in there.

No, not in DoW. DoW automatically saves it to the Screenshots folder, you don't need to paste it to anything (although you should open it and re-save it, because it puts in almost 0 compression - the 800KB images I get can be compressed to about 250KB with no obvious loss)

All I can think is that it's your strange keyboard, as I've never seen one with Home and Print Screen sharing a key. Are you sure it isn't ALT+Home to Print Screen? Just a random guess, but Shift is normally for letter/number keys (as you're shifting the case of the number) but Alt is alternate action.
Customisation is king - stick with Dawn of War!

Skins @ Hive World Terra - badges, banners, textures, tutorials and tools!

    * UberPainter Mod for DoW, WA, DC and SS*

Do you use a laptop? there's probably a special button to get some of the keys. Otherwise I'd try "Alt Gr" (what does the GR mean anyway?)

As for the movies, most people use FRAPs (google for it)... there's a free version if you don't mind haveing the word Fraps in the bottom corner?

You can also make moving gifs (as I beleive most of the shots in the screenshot thread are) by taking a number of pictures and using a graphics prog (personally I use Gimp, which is free and very good, again google for it) to put the pictures together.

I think it actually says somewhere in the screenshot thread about both, so if you search the forum for fraps, you'll probably see all the useful posts.
