ive noticed the insane amount of detail in the troops after playing a few matches. One thing that i found particularly good/sick/awsome was the decapatation of units. They really have gone to extreme lengths to make this as realistic as possible. Almost reminded me of exploding troops on the outfit when they were hit bang on with shells lol

This is one of the reasons CoH will undoubtedly be one of the greatest RTS games ever released!

The detail, the gore, the way it goes about it...just pure quality.

Game always reminds me of band of brothers, well true allot of ww2 games do but even more so then any other ww2 rts.

I really like all the detail for tanks and buildings. I am doubly surprised my computer can handle it. Even the tank tracks form around the ground, that is a new thing for me in ANY game. Even FPS WW2 games hadn't been able to do that well.

hmm after playing the game now i have to say it start to bore me its always like this who build first tanks already won its always the same you even dont have to waste your money for mg buildings you only need tanks and you won the match..

ok the graphic is realy good for a rts i cant even play the game on low setting well

but i realy miss the direct control feature for me the game is just a sort of dawn of war with ww2 units :/

Sorry the game doesn't suit your tastes, but I disagree about the first to tanks comment. In fact, I have won a couple games now as Axis without building any tanks at all.

Yeah, the bodies sommersaulting in the air are pretty hilarious, as are breakdancers in the tank turrets...

The games I played so far were quite fun, but not awesome, not yet anyway. It takes forever to get any troops out, I have yet to get used to the game.

Grenadiers are awesome, so are my MG42 boys. You can definitely win games as the Axis without armor if you play your cards right.

But why win the game without armor when Tigers are so much fun? I especially love the Tiger/Stormtroopers combo.

Well axies tanks are overpowered I agree, but allied tanks definaly dont guarantee any sort of victory whatsover. Axies have plenty of units caplable of countering allied tanks but unfortunatly not the same the other way around.

Axis tanks are supposed to beat yank ones, concidently I believe yank infrantry is slightly better then axis infrantry.

As for destroying tanks with yanks, you have plenty of anti tank about.

Only anti tank stuff i can think of would be sticky bombs (which no one gets due to the barracks being so poor),
AT guns (yes i love them) and other tanks.
Also a ranger squad but you must be Inf commander :wise:

What a load of rubbish. I never bother building much armoured (armour is spelt with a U in it. I'm British) stuff. I have lost count of the amount of tanks I have taken out with just my infantry. I just throw a few sticky bombs on the tanks and boom! Their dead. You need to learn how to play better. If I can do it, you can.

Same here, plenty of options other than tanks, and I want a rematch Tranj! :P
