    teamgames gameplay..

    hi,

    i would like to know if there is any leak of information that in DC teamgames will be different.

    like if friendly unit will be effected from allies buff and such like in dowpro.

    for example farseer casts guide on zerks.

    that could enhance teamgames quite a lot and would open new strategies and combos like in war3 tft.

    Hm I wouldn't kick an attached Priest out of the Seer Council...
    Anyway I'd love to be able to guide other peoples units or let them benefit from Healing Webways, or maybe even let them use the Gates themselves :P

    All those suggestions are very unfluffy though, and who knows what balance retardedness it would cause. The Guide-type idea I like though, and aura-enhancement.

    Actually it does increase population cap.

    Having teams benifit from others bonuses would be an interesting concept. Certainly adding a more depth to team combinations. Though there is a chance that certain teams would be better then others. Like Space Marines healing auras, or having both the Force Commander's and the Choas Lord's aura going at the same time.

    Then again it's not like team games have ever been know for balance.

    Um, doating stuff like building abilities and cap abilities is pure bs. I think he is thinking spells only which would be much more balanced and much less numerous.

    Stuff like friendly spells, guide, fightin' juice, ect...

    I think that would be neat, as none of the "friendly casting" spells are as race-specific as things like attaching your unita to other races squads, or your units geting remoralized by SM sergs... Just spells that are cast directly on your own units.

    yes immortal is right. i thought more of spells and auras units would give. who knows if in DC IG will become some new spells, aura etc.

    atm teamgames are more than 2 vs 1on1 imo. benefit from auras would force people to actually stick their units together and play more teamwise.

    You will notace that to some effect on forbiddon jungle, which plays more like 4 sets of 1v1s rather than a 4v4. Although I wouldnt give that up (love that map), there are times where it would be more interesting to see everyone stick together.

    Yup. It effectively uses 6, since no other Eldar unit uses an odd number of infantry cap.
