    Yeah I replace the big gun back which was gun0 I replace the whole folder actually to the original and then it still happens. I spend like 4 hour trying to figure it out how to change the stat of the big gun but couldn't so I decide to uninstall it, since I play homeworld, hwc, and hw 2 too much anyways maybe when I feel like tweaking it around some more I'll reinstall them thanks for the help.

    Not acutally giving up. I try it in easy mode it works good, just not n hard mode. Moving on to mod hw2 and then maybe put the hw games down for a while.

    First, GG: not to play backseat moderator here, but it's kind of against forum ettiquette to bump threads that are 3+ years old. Particularly when you've already started three threads with similar questions. I think one thread with all your questions might have been the way to go. Nothing personal, and I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I'm just sayin'.

    To answer your question, yes, it is possible to reverse the process and put Cataclysm ships into Homeworld. There used to be a Cata-to-Homeworld mod out there for download, done by one of the unsung heroes of HW/HWC modding, a guy who went by the handle of Tech. (Wait, is that right? Man, I don't even remember anymore. That sucks.) I've never done it, so I'm not sure what it would take...

    There are subtle differences between the file formats in Homeworld and Cataclysm, so you'll need to convert the model from its .peo (model), .lif (textures) and .mex (hardpoint info) source files into a common format and then back to the Homeworld 1 .peo, lif and .mex formats. After that, you'll need to manually tweak the .shp file by hand to remove any references to abilities the ship may have that are not supported by the scout ship slot in HW1.

    That's the short explanation anyway. You'll need a few tools to do it, but they should still be available for download in one of the other threads on this forum. Be glad the fighter doesn't have team colors. They were a pain to get working properly. At least if you needed more than a ship or two replaced without the game graphics getting royally screwed up due to engine limitations.
