    what i did for 3 was just build gunships flak frigates bombers and fighters and have the bombers go after the infiltration frigates while everything else is on aggressive and doing stuff without any commands from me (pretty much right when something is built i put it on aggressive) or if you want to cheat get the trainer........ which sometimes my anti virus programs consider it a virus so i almost can never use it

    A gundam the size(maybe even taller than) a Destroy. It could possibly make it in, but it would be subsystem HEAVY. Since the design of it is that each part can be ejected and replaced.

    But if it isn't put in I'm fine. Seeing Destiny destroy a bunch of Destroys will be fine with me :P

    not certain but i think 2.0 is supposed to initially be released in english. someone did made an english patch for 1.2. im trying to figure out why kira doesnt crash into the archangel when he saves it at alaska. he shoots the ginns gun so his beam should have hit the archangel. and at the speed he was going he should have hit the ship itself it does show him going past the bridge right in front of it

    I think its suposed to be assumed that when eh shot the gun, it blew up (yes it woudl haev definately hit the ship, btu most of the beams energy would have been taken up by hitting the gun), then teh GInn falls backwards a bit while the pilot is surprised, and I guess that its supposed to move back far enough that the F wouldn't have hit the ship.

    Also, the Vagyr really REALLY hate Miguel, on mission 5 of campaign (cause of code, I'm playing it through again with gundams) the 1 where theres the 3 dust nebulas adn at teh end of each tehres a fleet oyu have to destroy, like IDK y, but like 25 torp frigates all targeted miguel, and he got pwned

    Answering to darkdust43's qn, I believe you forgot that archangel have a special armor that is able to withstand beam attacks, and can withstand high amount of heat. It other words, a single beam attack onto the archangel is useless.

    i didnt forget it had that armor and i think its no where near as effective in atmosphere as it is in space, even than though i think freedoms and justices beams are slightly stronger and the archangel was in a battle you kinda want to avoid all kinds of friendly fire.

    Well see, the way the Archangel's armor works is that the entire armor over the ship is 1 piece, it still has an anti beam coating on it like other ships do, but what is accomplished by the 1 large piece is that when it gets hit with a beam weapon that gets past the AB coating, or even with missiles or kinetic weapons when they hit they generate large amounts of heat, which since the whole armor is 1 piece, it can be distributed throughout the whole frame easily so heat doesn't build up in any 1 spot to weaken the armor, however after an extended battle with the armor heating up, it can't dissipate the heat fast enough off of the armor and out into space/atmosphere and is able to be damaged at that point, which if you listen to the chatter before that scene, I think Sai says something about how the armor temp is rising

    it was the armor or the engines im not sure which. kira "all of you should stop fighting" (while secretly thinking "i will damage your mobile suit in ways that prevents you from moving HAHAHAHHA") anime tends to defy physics but i think the japanese concluded that there was not a high likelihood of people talking about the physics. im guessing in the mod himat will always be on. or as an upgrade. actually didnt it decrease overall speed while increasing manueverability? if so i wonder if there is a way to make it so its combat speed is different than its cruising speed

    supposedly the beam cannons and rail guns on the hips and shoulders can only be used in the HiMAT mode but i think ive seen the shoulder ones used witht he wings closed

    well if you notice, numerous time while in HiMAT mode, the wings still fold up for certain maneuvers, so who knows, cause kira never really fough without himat.

    but up to mission 8 now (cause my game was beign retarded for a while) adn I came to a conclusion, Zaft needs a long range bombardment MS, like how the UC mod had the Guncannons which were good for anti ship and have long range, but sucked in close, Zaft doesnt have anything, so you have to use the crappy movers to take out teh broken pieces of the progenator ship rather then jsut having a few LR MS outsde of the nebula bombarding

    wasnt the beam bazooka technically a LR unit? or the one with all those missles? zaft does have LR units the problem is they are all land based only like that tank one

    HAHA, i figured out how to add music to the game without a guide (actuall yi wasnt plannign on it, i was really jsut trying to get 1 of the gundam seed songs fromt eh mod to pu ton my MP3, but yeah i added the song that plays in episode 14 and 16, 14 in the beginning after Rau talks adn the attack on heliopolis begins, and 16 when kira's fighting the becues

    yeah, I felt the same way, I did some readjustment on the ranges of alot of weapons on my personal folder.

    Basically changed the cap ships to have much longer range, increased range of Bazooka Missiles and Orthos Gunner Zaku, etc. Increased damage and cost of Gunnner Zaku (The Orthros is a pretty powerful beam cannon, but it's piss weak in the game right now).

    im still trying to figure out how to increase the rate of fire, but 1 thing I did yesterday is I switched the engagement type that the anti cap Ginns use to the same 1 that the bazooka ginns use (so they circle around capital ships ranter then flying at them) and I made it so they can shoot from a little further away, also since they shoot from further away, i gave their missiles a higher max speed, but a lower acceleration so they would act like a normal missile and accelerate for a while. and they seem to do significantly better now, they still get totally pwned by anti corvette things liek the bazooka ginns and pulsar gunships, but are in all much better (also lowered their armor a bit to make it even)

    i did notice the METEORs have their high maneuverability still on a vertical and lateral axis but they lose it when it comes to turning is that already in the game? i havnt noticed since fighters and such kinda stay on a straight line for the most to iand dont move much on the vertical or lateral axis (barrel rolls and such)

    and it just occured to me that METEORs weaponry wise change them to a higher class but speed and how it acts maneuvering is more of a fighter class

    1 thing I've always wondered, why in the original homeworld, say if oyu set a squadron to "defencive" y they never had like an evasion program for fighter and corvettes to try to dodge the enemy attacks, no they'll just sit there and fight even if they're getting pwned till they die

    with the original macross dyrl mod for hw1 the valks would do barrel rolls and stuff on their flight path of their run.
    hmm starfox mod for hw2. FOX DO A BARREL ROLL. hehe good times. is there an evasion program already in hw2? or does one need to be written if it can be?

    yes but doing a barrel roll doenst exactly help, it jsut spins around the center axis of the aircraft/ship when fighter aircraft use a barrelroll its basically so that they can confuse eh enemy following them as to which direction they are going to try to go next

    eh i mean more the kind where they dip and do a wide barrel roll i know the tight barrel rolls where they stay in the same spot and just spin is in.

    are 8th ms team and after war gundam x the only ones where the main character isnt a newtype or enhanced in any way shape or form?

    You missed Gundam Wing.

    Heero was brought up with supersoldier training, but afaik, he was never on any kind of drugs nor was he genetically modified.

    I don't know if continual interfacing with the ZERO system to the point that he operates 2 steps ahead of the system itself is considered an "enhancement" though.

    heero doesnt really count though because the training does make him better than everyone else. oh and i cant remember his name the pilot of the gpo1 and gpo3 from stardust memory and i guess the pilot of the nt1 in 0080 war in the pocket

    1 thing I've always wondered, is ok, Mwu La Fllaga is officially a natural right, but he has newtype abilities inherited from his father, Rau Le Crucet and later Rey are both clones of Al, Mwus father, and both of them are considered coordinators, what was Al then. Because if Rau and Rey were both direct clones of him, the only modification being the changing of the telemeters in their cells to make them both grow faster, and if Al had been a natural, then the Rau would have never been able to pilot a mobilesuit before the creation of the Natural OS, because tho hes a coordinator because of the cloning, he'd still have the abilities of the natural Al.
    So could Al have been a coordinator, and part of the reason why Mwu is A naturally more skilled then other naturals, and B so accepting of coordinators unlike the majority of the rest of the earth forces, be because he could be kinda considered half coordinator?


    Oh yeah, and why is i that when you use the minerva in campaign, it never opens the Tannhauser, just the little lights on it all star shining in space where the cannons supposed to be, and then it just fires. Also, those 3 planet killer thigns in the alst mission that oyu can "only kill with the Sajuuk" is total BS, the minerva can do a LOT of damage to those things, maybe not the 2 hit kill the Saj can, but in the time it takes for teh Saj to take out the other 2, you can take down 1 with the minerva.

    actually what it might be is George Glenn is actually mwus grandfather. Mwu is about 10 when George Glenn is killed and id say there is some resemblance in the anime between what they show of George Glenn and mwu.

    I also found this off gundam official

    The era of the Coordinators began in the year C.E. 15, when George Glenn revealed the secret of his origins and released the necessary genetic engineering techniques onto the worldwide network. However, such genetic modification remained illegal for many years, and so the earliest Coordinators were born and raised in secret. The Coordinator boom started in earnest in C.E. 30, and came to an end with the adoption of the Torino Protocol in C.E. 55, when genetic modification was once again prohibited everywhere on Earth.

    that would mean coordinators were announced 27 years before mwu was even born and Glenn would at least have been close to 30 im guessing here with his age.

    Cheetah, from what i gather their mod team is much smaller then other mods, and seed mod is not the only thing they are working on.
    Its alot of work to do so it will take longer.

    either taht or you can add -overridebigfile to the target line of the shortcut to the mod, becuase then it'll allow files outside of .big to be used as long as they fit into the hierarchy

    Dont seem to reconize that ship, it seems to me that its another one of his modelling projects and not for the mod itself.
    Since the poly count on that ship is huge.
